Fun Fun Fun Fest (FFF Fest) is excited to announce the music lineup of the 9th annual festival to be held November 7-9 at Auditorium Shores and Butler Park in Austin. Weekend passes and Ultimate Smooth Passes are on sale today at 10 a.m. CST at funfunfunfest.com.

For the first time in 25 years, Austin will welcome English heavy metal royalty Judas Priest as a FFF headliner. Recognized as one of the greatest and most influential metal bands of all time, Judas Priest is known for their twin lead guitars, original vocal style and for introducing the S&M leather look to metal. Their performance will follow the release of their seventeenth studio album, Redeemer of Souls, which marks 40 years since their debut recording.

Other FFF Fest 2014 headliners include Neutral Milk Hotel, Death Cab For Cutie, Nas, King Diamond, Wiz Khalifa, Alt-J, Death From Above 1979, and Girl Talk. The roster will also feature performances from The New Pornographers, Dinosaur Jr., 2 Chainz, Rocket From The Crypt, First Aid Kid, Death Grips, Atmosphere, Guided by Voices, Blood Brothers, City and Colour, Yo La Tengo, Dum Dum Girls, Foxygen, Sun Kil Moon, Flying Lotus, Yelle, and Ginuwine. Additional musical acts may also be announced later this summer.

Festival producers Transmission Events will offer a sound for everyone, with a mix of new music, long-awaited reunions, and fan favorites. The music lifting from the park will include indie, hip-hop, punk, electronic, metal, folk and more. This year will also feature an expanded comedy and action sports experience, with a fresh lineup of comedians and riders to be announced this summer.

“Each year, we try to bring Fun Fun Fun fans a unique and exciting lineup to top the year before,” says Bobby Garza, general manager at Transmission Events. “And this year we feel we went above and beyond to give you an experience you can’t find anywhere else.”

Might catch some sh** for this, but if Nas performed "Illmatic" in full for the anniversary, I would get a boner the size of Kentucky.
