Belphegor Reveals "Conjuring The Dead" Album Details
The diabolical black/death metal outfit Belphegor has just revealed the cover design for forthcoming album "Conjuring the Dead."
The artwork was created by Greek artist Seth Siro Anton from Septicflesh, who also painted the cover of "Pestapokalypse IV" in 2006.
Belphegor's Helmuth comments: “The spectacular cover, the offensive lyrical content, the Death Musick. Belphegor's nine new sound collages are a new dimension of intensity and dynamics.”
Seth adds: "Once you can customize the basic principles of Renaissance painting and deriving energy/data from chaotic reservoir of unconscious...you get Belphegor's "Conjuring The Dead' cover art.”
The album was recorded at Mana Studios in Florida under the direction of Eric Rutan, three and a half years after "Blood Magick Necromance" (reviewed here) was released.
The band's tenth studio album will be unleashed on August 8th (EU/North America) and August 11th (UK/FR) via Nuclear Blast.
