This week we're going really old school, from the early days of one of the forefathers of heavy metal, Black Sabbath. Until Black Sabbath reunited to headline Ozzfest for several years, many younger/newer metal heads had yet to see the band's original lineup perform. Even in light of the recent reunions, it's interesting to see the band in their old form, and in today's column, we present a number of live video clips of Black Sabbath circa 1970. Great footage DB. I've been on a Sabbs kick lately. It was seldom that Ozzy was able to perform well back in the day, but this footage is good stuff. Thank you sir.

Thanks, Blindgreed. I thought it was interesting too, considering this performance is before I was even born and all I know of Ozzy is "old Ozzy," which is why I chose to feature this old footage.

Lol. Well I was only 4, but through the years being a dedicated Sabbath feind I have seen many clips of Ozzy while he was in the Sabbs and he was usually too drunk and/or high to put on a descent show. I did actually get to see a good show in 77, but this is some of the only footage i've seen of Ozzy in good shape vocally and of sound stage presence. Thanks again.

But the clips made me a bit sad as well, as all of the 4 guys are still around and more than capable to rock but f***1ng Ozzy just had to ruin everything. Shame
