Nightbringer is releasing the "Circumambulations of the Solar Inferno" split with Dodsengel through Daemon Worship Productions early next year, and now two tracks from the release are available online for streaming.

Daemon Worship Productions also commented: "Circumambulations of the Solar Inferno is a conceptual split release, based upon the esoteric doctrines of the four quarters of the journey of the 'sun' from death, through the underworld, to rebirth and ascendance. Nightbringer is set to release a split with Dodsengel by the end of 2012 via Daemon Worship Productions. The label has now issued the following update about streaming a sample of the Nightbringer side of the split:
"Two new Nightbringer songs for the upcoming split with Dodsengel were recently recorded, mixed and mastered, as always, at Flatline Studios. The black metal visionaries in Nightbringer are currently recording two exclusive tracks for an upcoming split release with Norwegian illuminaries Dodsengel, which is set to be released by the end of 2012 via Daemon Worship Productions.
The conceptual split will be based upon the esoteric doctrines of the four quarters of the journey of the “sun” from death, through the underworld, to rebirth and ascendance. Occult black metal acts Acherontas and Nightbringer are teaming up for a new split release titled "The Ruins of Edom." The split is set to be released June 26th in Europe and August 16th in North America and the cover artwork is available below. Agonia Records also commented:
"On The Ruins Of Edom both bands continue to travel the previously selected path of mystical elegance, presenting the specific, magical atmosphere and darksome melodies they're are known for.
"At the same time the cooperation of the two outfits falls outside of the recording process. Acherontas (and also Acrimonuis) members in the shape of Cain Letifer, Acherontas V.P.9 and C.Docre will empower Nightbringer through handling guitars and drums as session musicians during band's European tour. Greece's Acherontas is teaming up with Nightbringer to release a split entitled "The Ruins of Edom" this coming March, 2012 via Agonia Records. Acherontas commented on the upcoming release:
"It was a matter of time before two of the most dedicated occult black metal bands united their forces to unleash a masterpiece of true darkness.
"The recording, out on 22.03.2012, will be a celebration of the spring equinox; available as a 10EP vinyl and digipack CD. Limited t-shirt in all sizes will acompany the release."

Season of Mist has announced the addition of U.S. black metal act Nightbringer to its Underground Activists roster. The band commented on working with Season of Mist:
"Nightbringer is very enthusiastic about our collaboration with Season of Mist. It is an honor to be on such a label alongside some of metals most legendary acts. We feel that 'Hierophany of the Open Grave' is easily our most powerful offering yet and we are pleased to know it will have the level of representation that Season of Mist is known for."
Nightbringer's third album is entitled "Hierophany of the Open Grave" and will hit stores on August 19th in Europe (September 13th in North America). Additional details on the album will be announced as they are made available.
The Maryland Deathfest organizers report that "Sonar will be re-opening before MDF, and technically they already have."
As previously reported, the venue of the Maryland Deathfest was up in the air when Baltimore's Sonar nightclub failed to renew their liquor license and closed its doors.
The organizers futher commented: "These last couple of days have been incredibly confusing and stressful, but we are currently back to the regularly scheduled program. And don't worry, beyond plan B is a plan C, because that's how we roll. See you in a couple of weeks."
As such, the set times that were previously announced should now hold.

The ninth annual Maryland Deathfest has announced the final lineup and set times for the event. However, not long after announcing these details came word that the Baltimore venue, Sonar, unexpectedly closed its doors today. The festival organizers claim to have a backup plan that should involve little to no inconvenience to ticket holders (even those coming from out of town) and will be releasng more details soon.

The organisers of the Maryland Deathfest have announced the first ten confirmations for next year's edition of the festival. Among them are recently reunited death metal outfit Exhumed, reactivated groove metal instigators Exhorder and Italian grindcore veterans Cripple Bastards, as well as Impaled Nazarene, Repugnant, The Kill, Wormed, Blood Freak, Cretin and Nightbringer. The festival will take place from May 27th-29th. Stay tuned for further information.
