Nightbringer Streaming Full Album

Underground black metal cult Nightbringer is streaming full new album, "Ego Dominus Tuus" ("I Am Your Lord").

Listen in below, thanks to Decibel Magazine. Regarding the new album, vocalist Naas Alcameth issued the following statement:

"Ego Dominus Tuus is our pinnacle work, an offering of prayer, sacrifice and praise to the sacred trinity that is at once a divinity and a path towards other-becoming. Verily we offer this work upon the subtle altar as a declaration of faith and the intent of our ultimate will.

"May it serve to move and inspire the hearts of those brothers and sisters who would dare the path of the Antient Night, the way which threads through the black between the stars above, the nadir of the crucible of the underworld below and pierces the sacred chambers of the heart within. The longing for this union is the heart of the melancholia, both gift and burden."

"Ego Dominus Tuus" was recorded and mixed at Flatline Audio Studios by Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Cattle Decapitation). More...

Regarding the new track, vocalist Naas Alcameth issued the following statement: "The Otherness of Being speaks of the longing for union with one’s own higher daimon, an aspect of-self that is paradoxically ones 'otherness.' It speaks of being and non-being and approaching via incubation and dreams the cross roads in the underworld where one can come to know and to be one’s 'otherness,' the shadow self, free within the “eternal now” outside of time and circumstance. The longing for this union is the heart of the melancholia, both gift and burden."

The diabolic and daimonic brother who is met at the edge of borders into the Unknown. It speaks of the pact between self and non-self, manifest and transcendental, spoken and the unthinkable. Met in the circle of pacts, these two principles coming together in the daring of facing each other reveals the mystical peaks of the magical arts."

Nightbringer Streaming New Song

Colorado black metal cult Nightbringer is streaming the first track taken from new album, "Ego Dominus Tuus" ("I Am Your Lord"). The new track, "Et Nox Illuminatio Mea In Deliciis Meis," is streaming below, thanks to Stereogum.

Regarding the track, the band issued the following statement: "Et Nox… refers to a line from Psalm 139. The lyrics draw heavily upon this psalm, which we feel, via a perhaps more heretical approach, elucidates symbols relevant to the ‘midnight sun’ and the ‘night of light.’ Furthermore we touch upon the Greek melancholia and the sovereignty of Saturn over those of us who are born with his mark and our relation to the former concepts as well as the significance of the ‘black light’ of our Lord. It speaks much of the ecstatic furor one may enter in which wisdom is imparted both from above, below and within, via a state of ‘divine madness.'"

"Ego Dominus Tuus" will be released by Season of Mist in North America on September 30th (September 26th worldwide). Pre-orders can be found here and "Ego Dominus Tuus" was recorded and mixed at Flatline Audio Studios by Dave Otero. The track listing is as follow:
