Shroud Eater Releasing Split With Dead Hand
Southern Druid Records is proud to announce the release of a split 7" from doom/sludge titans Shroud Eater and Dead Hand.

Shroud Eater Streams New Track, Announces Shows
Miami, Florida's Shroud Eater will release the two-song EP, "Face The Master," on April 7th, 2015 as regular and special-edition cassette via Primitive Violence Records & Visual, as well as a digital download.
In celebration of the EP's release, the band will also be embarking on an eight-day trek up and down the east coast in support of the release. Dates are available below.

Midnite Collective Streaming Compilation
Following Cough's exclusive west-coast appearance at Midnite Collective's dark celebration of arts, crafts and music at "Midnite Communion II: Out Of The Woods," the LA-based label has unearthed "Fuck Up," a track that was recorded during the Cough/Windhand "Reflection Of The Negative" split-era and never released.
The song, along with exclusive tracks from Shroud Eater, Trapped Within Burning Machinery, INVDRS and Ladybird, and The Haunting Green, makes up "Midnite Congregation - Verse II," the second in a series of compilations hand-picked and put out by Midnite Collective.

Orbweaver Gearing Up For New Tour
Sunshine State psychedelic death metal ensemble Orbweaver is readying to kick off a twenty-date stretch of roadside assaults next week.
The live abrasions will commence on Tuesday, February 18th with a special hometown kick off show before the band joins fellow Floridian sludge assassins Shroud Eater for a westward run of audio debauchery.
Offers guitarist/vocalist Randy Piro (ex-Hate Eternal, Gigan): "We are really excited to team up with our good friends and riff lords, Shroud Eater, for the slow invasion of the Orb-Eaters...a tour which will take us from our homes in Miami, to the West Coast and back. Brains will be twisted, senses warped, and a mysterious trail of green slime will be left in our wake. May the strangers be listening!"

Florida sludge outfit Shroud Eater has issued the following announcement about upcoming tour dates:
"We're heading West with Orbweaver February 19 through March 10! The journey will be cold and perilous, bring us your warmest whiskey and your finest smoke, and let us RIFF you into oblivion..."

Orbweaver Announces New Tour Dates
Orbweaver and Hollow Leg have teamed up to trek across the Floridian swamps in support of their new releases - Orbweaver's "Strange Transmissions From The Neuralnomicon" EP, which will mark the band's debut through Primitive Violence Records, and Hollow Leg's LP "Abysmal," which is to be released through Last Anthem Records.
The "Abysmal Transmissions" tour dates are below, with Miami riff lords Shroud Eater joining on select dates.

Pit Stories: The Bar Room Brawl
We've been talking to bands and fans everywhere to get their favorite mosh pit stories from metal shows. This week's pit story comes courtesy of Jeannie Saiz from sludge metal trio Shroud Eater, who shared the following story of a bar room brawl.
At one of the last gigs we played, the evening started with two ladies at the bar breaking out into a sudden brawl - bar stools to the face and everything! As the second band of the night played, there was a whirlwind of like six fights breaking out at once. People were jumping on the bar to get out of the way and the cops showed up, lights went on, and the show almost got canceled on the spot as you can imagine the owner was pretty upset.
Luckily, we had an awesome friend who helped us book the show talk to the owner and he let us play. We did a killer set amidst some high tensions, so it was definitely a crazy evening.

Shroud Eater Announces Mini-Tour
Miami stoner metal trio Shroud Eater has revealed the dates for an upcoming mini tour with fellow South Florida metal act Hollow Leg. The “Beer Bacon and Blunts Mini Tour” is set to kick off in St. Augustine, FL on March 22nd, and will cut through the southern part of the country before wrapping up in New Orleans on March 26th. The dates for the five-day excursion are as follows:

Shroud Eater Announces Florida Shows
Miami sludge metal trio Shroud Eater has confirmed four Florida dates with Consular in support of the band’s recently released debut album, "ThunderNoise." The four-day run will kick off in Miami on February 17th and head north, with a final stop planned in Gainesville on February 20th. Shroud Eater will then return home for the remainder of the month, before hitting the road again in March for dates in Atlanta, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and more.
"ThunderNoise," Shroud Eater’s self-released debut full-length, is now available for streaming in its entirety at this location. "ThunderNoise is our statement of intent," said guitarist/vocalist, Jeannie Saiz. "It's a ferocious labyrinth of music that we literally put blood, sweat and tears into. We hope it consumes the listener as much as it did us."

The 11-track self-release is now streaming in its entirety at the band's bandcamp page, where it is also available for purchase as a digital download, hard copy CD, and special CD/t-shirt bundle pack.
“ThunderNoise is our statement of intent,” explains guitarist/vocalist, Jeannie Saiz. “It's a ferocious labyrinth of music that we literally put blood, sweat and tears into. We hope it consumes the listener as much as it did us.”

Shroud Eater Releases 3-Song EP For Download
Miami, Florida stoner metal trio Shroud Eater has released their three-song demo for free download. You can also stream the songs on the band's MySpace page. The EP was recorded at Relax, Bro! Studios in Miami with long time friend Raul Valentine, while Jonathan Nunez mixed and mastered the music.
