Nothnegal Announces Lineup Changes
Nothnegal, which signed to Season of Mist back in 2010, has issued the following update about album delays and lineup changes:
"We regret to inform that the release our debut album which was originally intended to come out this Spring have been delayed. This was mostly due to some unforeseen problems and changes in the band's lineup.
"Fufu, who have been doing the backing vocals and guitarist have taken over the vocals and Avo is no longer part of Nothnegal as he decided to leave the band after our European tour with Finntroll.

Nothnegal Checks In From The Studio
Nothnegal has checked in with the following update about entering the studio to record new material:
"So we are back in studio after a much needed break and as you may already know, have been writing the material for this album for over a year now and the whole album have actually been rewritten 4 times! We have been working hard on the overall sound and the material that's gonna end up on the album turned out to be completely different from what we started out with. Due to the writing process, we had to postpone the originally planned recording schedule. But its all good now, we got 8 songs all done and ready to record.
"And if you are wondering what they sound like, it does have some melodic elements from the Antidote EP and they are mixed with some heavy/thrashy guitars, everything is slower compared to what we have doing before. For those We played two songs from the album, Claymore and Janus on our show with Arch Enemy last month: we have attached some pictures from the show to this post. Kevin has already tracked the drums for all of the songs which were awesome as expected! So whats left now is the guitars, bass, vocals and keys, everything except the drums.
"We'll be shooting some pictures and video footage from the sessions and post it online so you guys can see the actual recording process in action. We'll be updating this blog as we progress with the recordings, The band members will individually post their comments on the sessions there."
