The daily band lineup has been announced for Rock Vegas - powered by Rockstar Energy Drink - which is being billed as "Sin City's Loudest Two-Day Rock Music Festival" and takes place Friday, September 28th and Saturday, September 29th at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.
The two-day rock extravaganza will feature performances from Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Marilyn Manson, and Godsmack, plus Staind, Stone Sour, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Adelitas Way, All That Remains, P.O.D., Art of Dying, Redlight King, New Medicine, Deuce, Otherwise and more.
Rob Zombie provides some insight into what fans can expect from his theatrical live performance, noting: "I am packing up the trucks with everything I need to destroy Sin City's loudest music festival. I know Las Vegas has seen it all, but you ain't seen nothing like this."

The third annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar festival returns this August and September for more than 30 shows throughout North America. The main stage features multi-platinum rock bands Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, and Papa Roach, along with breaking band Adelitas Way.
In addition, the Ernie Ball Stage and Jägermeister Stage in the festival area will include performances from multi-platinum headliners P.O.D., as well as up-and-coming artists Fozzy, Deuce, Redlight King, Mindset Evolution (winner of the 2011 Best Buy Music Gear Battle Of The Bands Powered By Ernie Ball), In This Moment, Thousand Foot Krutch, Candlelight Red, and a local battle of the bands winner.

Band performance times have been announced for Epicenter — Southern California’s Rock Festival. The day-long rock festival set for Saturday, September 24th at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, CA, will feature 12 hours of rock music with performances from 15 bands on two stages.
The lineup includes: Limp Bizkit, Staind, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Buckcherry, Puddle Of Mudd, Skillet, Everlast, RED, P.O.D., Asking Alexandria, Redlight King, Middle Class Rut, Crossfade and Drive A. Epicenter marks the first Southern California show for headliners Limp Bizkit in over a decade and their first American live performance of 2011. The official lineup for the 2011 edition of Southern California's "Epicenter" festival has been announced. The day long hard rock event is to take place on Saturday, September 24 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California and is set to be headlined by reunited rap-metal act Limp Bizkit. The currently announced lineup is listed below, with more bands to be added in the coming weeks.

New live footage has made its way online featuring California nu-metal act P.O.D. performing a brand a new track. The song, titled "On Fire," can be streamed in the player below.
American nu-metal act P.O.D. has announced that it will be postponing its upcoming European/U.K. headline tour for a later date. The band offered a short statement on the matter by saying;
"P.O.D. is being forced to postpone their May and June European touring plans due a contractual breach by the organizing tour promoter. More disappointed than [the] fans, [we] will be working with different promoters to return to Europe in the Fall with specific announcements coming soon."

Alternative hard rock outfit P.O.D. (Payable On Death) has announced that the group is planning to sue record label INO Records. The band members claim they should have been paid $400,000 when ready to record a new album last November. P.O.D says INO is in breach of contract. More information on this story will be revealed as soon as it becomes available.
Stillwell, the band featuring Korn bassist Fieldy, P.O.D. drummer Wuv, and underground rapper Q Unique, has posted the band's first music video online. You can check out the clip for the song, "On And Poppin'" below. The song will appear on the band's forthcoming debut album, "Dirtbag," which will be released sometime later this year.

P.O.D has been announced as the headlining act for the upcoming benefit concert for hospitalized Deftones bassist Chi Cheng. The event is taking place on August 14th, 2010 at the Fairplex in Pomona, California. The event starts at 3 P.M.

Christian Extreme metal band The Crimson Armada has covered "Alive," which was the biggest hit that fellow Christian rockers P.O.D. ever recorded. The Deftones has issued the following update about the benefit shows held for bassit Chi Cheng:
"Deftones would like to thank all of the incredible artists, sponsors, crew, supporters, fans and friends who made last Thursday and Friday an overwhelming success. The two night event commenced with special sets by POD, Far and Cypress Hill on night one. Deftones opened their Thursday night set with a brand new song 'Rocket Skates' and continued through a show that included 'Elite,' 'Be Quiet and Drive,' and 'My Own Summer.'
"Each night the band was joined by some of Deftones' and Chi's close friends for some special collaborations exclusive to the nights. Night one included Ben Kenney from Incubus on 'Street Carp,' Mike Shinoda and Tommy Lee on 'Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event,' Xzibit on 'Back to School,' Jonah and Shawn from Far on the Jawbox cover 'Savory,' and Cypress Hill joining Deftones for a full band version of Cypress' 'Rock Superstar.'
"Friday night opened with longtime Chi Cheng favorites Fungo Mungo and Will Haven. Special guests on night two included Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Daron Malakian (System of A Down) and Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) on a punishing cover of Metallica's 'Battery,' an ensemble performance of Suicidal Tendencies' 'War Inside My Head' with members of Suicidal, and Daron, John Dolmayan, and Shavo Odadjian of System performing 'Aerials' and 'Toxicity' with Chino on vocals.

Stillwell, the side project of Korn bassist Fieldy and rapper Q Unique, has revealed to the world their new drummer, P.O.D.'s Wuv. P.O.D. has responded to claims that the band is to go on an indefinite hiatus, following the cancellation of their co-headline tour with Filter. Frontman Sonny Sandoval has uploaded the following statement:
"There are a lot of rumors flying around right now but please pay no attention to all of that.
"Just know that the P.O.D. boys are all good and are looking forward to doing what we do best in South America and wherever opportunities may present themselves in the future.
"Thank you for all your love and encouragement as we head out for the next couple weeks. Please keep us, our travels and our families back home in your prayers as we'll be gone through the holiday.
"With Thanksgiving around the corner, remember to be thankful for your many blessings and know that we are thankful for you."
P.O.D. and Filter have cancelled their UK tour scheduled for February 2009.
The announcement comes as P.O.D reveals they are unable to fulfill their touring obligations as they are to go on hiatus.
Filter is currently working on rescheduling their own tour and hopes to announce new headline dates imminently.
P.O.D. will be heading to Europe in January long with Filter.
