Emergency Gate Cancels Upcoming Shows
Emergency Gate has issued the following announcement about cancelling upcoming dates in Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Serbia:
"Dear Fans, our singer Matthias recently got note from his wife’s doctors that his daughter’s birth may be due earlier than expected, i.e. the date of birth may coincide with our scheduled shows.
"While we do take our commitments seriously, we need to grant higher priority to family matters of importance.
"Therefore, we regret to inform you that we are cancelling our scheduled shows so Matthias can be with his family, should the birth and the date of the show coincide.

Emergency Gate Releases New Music Video
German melodic death metal act Emergency Gate released a new music video for the track "Sons of the Second." The track appears on the upcoming release "Infected" which drops tomorrow, September 26th in Europe.

New Act Serious Black To Feature Breed/Grapow
Serious Black, the new supergroup featuring Roland Grapow (Guitar/Masterplan, Ex-Helloween), Thomen Stauch (Drums/Savage Circus, Ex-Blind Guardian), Mario Lochert (Bass/Emergency Gate), Jan Vacik (Keyboards, Ex-Dreamscape) and Dominik Sebastian (Guitar/Edenbridge), along with vocalist Urban Breed (Trail of Murder/ex-Tad Morose), is set to release a debut album via AFM in the beginning of 2015.
More information on the release is expect shortly, but a trailer can be heard in the player below. The band will perform an abundance of live shows on the upcoming Hammerfall tour along with various festivals already confirmed for 2015.

Emergency Gate Streaming Acoustic Track
Emergency Gate has posted an alternate acoustic track online as Christmas gift to fans, which can be heard below. The group comments:

Emergency Gate Releases "Moshpit" Music Video
German metal act Emergency Gate - featuring Ex-Suidakra vocalist Matthias Kupka - released a new music video for the track "Moshpit." The song appears on the band's latest LP "You," which was issued back in January via Golden Core Records.

Pit Stories: Set Up In A Wall Of Death
We've been talking to bands and fans everywhere to get their favorite mosh pit stories. This week we hear from German metal band Emergency Gate. Guitarist Udo shares his wall of death experience with us:
It was the last day of the Chaos over Europe Tour 2009, on which I had the honour to support Kreator, Caliban and Eluveitie with my band Emergency Gate for 2 months. This evening was a special evening so our other guitar player Vlad and me decided to join Caliban‘s wall of death for the first time. So when they started playing their third song we knew from the nights before, that it was wall of death time. We went to the very first row where the Andy, the vocalist from Caliban saw me, smiled and said: "EVERYONE AGAINST UDO."
Well, it wasn‘t as painful as expected, but Vlad and me both lost our bracelets.

"Our new album will be called 'The Nemesis Construct' and will be released on April 30th 2010. The artwork will be done by Raf W. who already worked for Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Soulfly and many more."
Emergency Gate Signs To Twilight Zone Records
German metal band Emergency Gate has signed a record deal with Twilight Zone Records. The Band will enter the Dreamscape Studios in Munich on the 22nd of December, in order to record their upcoming album.
