Re/Volt Announces Formation
The new band Re/Volt has announced material is coming in 2013, and the band has now posted a promo video online announcing its formation. Check out the clip below. Re/Volt features:

Two More Bands Confirmed For Bloodstock 2012
Finnish pagan metal outfit Moonsorrow and German power metal group Freedom Call have been confrmed as the latest two bands to take part in this years edition of the British metal festival, Bloodstock Open Air, which will take place at Catton Hall in Walton On Trent, Derbyshire from August 10th-12th.
Speaking on the confirmation, Moonsorrow stated: "We are truly excited to take part in Bloodstock Festival 2012. It's been way too long since we played on the British soil in 2008 and we know that lately there has been a huge demand for Moonsorrow to play in the UK. So, all our loyal fans in the UK, we want to see a massive crowd of insane berserks during our set. Don't let us down because we promise we don't let you down, cheers!"
Freedom Call added: "The Bloodstock Festival is the pulsating heart of Heavy Metal...a great audience, which knows exactly to revel."

Bathory Tribute Album Teaser Available
A new teaser video has been posted online for the upcoming Bathory tribute release "Voices from Valhalla," due out May 2012 via Godreah Records. Check out the clip below.

Eastern Front Announces Festival Appearances
Eastern Front has checked in with the following announcement about upcoming festival appearances and working on new material:
"We are very pleased to announce, we shall be taking the band into Europe this year. We have been confirmed to play the all day black metal Festival in the North of France called Rising of the Damned. we will be playing alongside: Seth, Glorior Belli, Belenos, Handful of Hate, Moonreich and many others. The festival is on Saturday 19th May and as soon as we get more info we will keep you all updated.
"Some more exciting news to announce, we have also just been confirmed to play the German festival Dong Open Air 2012 on Friday 13th July. The festival runs from 12th to the 14th July and we will be playing alongside some amazing bands. Bands announced so far are Sepultura, Napalm Death, Rage and many more. Sermon Of Underground Brutality Headliner Revealed
The upcoming "Sermon of Underground Brutality" show will be taking place on January 15th, 2012 in Birmingham, U.K. and is set to feature Hecate Enthroned as the headlining act.
U.K. based gothic metal band Immortal Empire has also issued the following update about the show:
"Immortal Empire has been included in an all day extreme metal event held in January 2012 in Birmingham with a whole bunch of extreme metal acts including Hecate Enthroned, Eastern Front, Abgott and many more."

Eastern Front Welcomes Back Original Vocalist
U.K. based band Eastern Front has checked in with the following brief announcement about re-recruiting original vocalist Metzger:
"We are very proud to announce the re-instatement of our original vocalist, Metzger, into our ranks. Metzger, who for personal reasons had to leave the band shortly after recording vocals for our debut album 'Blood On Snow' will now be fronting the band on a permanent basis again. Live vocals had been handled by Nagant in this interim period and we thank him for all his support."

Eastern Front Streaming New Song
U.K. act Eastern Front has teamed up with Stereo Killer to premiere the song "Blood On Snow," which is the title track from the band's upcoming album. "Blood on Snow" will be released via Candlelight Records on January 25th, 2011. The new track is available for streaming through this location. Paul Di'Anno & Blaze Bayley To Play Romanian Show
Romanian rock festival Rock City Open Air will feature two former Iron Maiden vocalists this year in the form of Paul Di'Anno and Blaze Bayley. The festival will be held from August 20th - 23rd in the city of Fetesti.
