Bullet Tooth has released a free 10 song 2012 summer sampler featuring bands on the label's roster. Head over to this location to download the sampler (email registration required). The bands on the sampler include:

Throwdown has revealed a slew of new details surrounding the band's upcoming "Brawloween" tour happening later this month. The band has announced the following touring lineup which is comprised of both familiar faces as well as some guests:
DAVE PETERS (vocals) (Throwdown 2000 - present)
MARK MITCHELL (bass) (Throwdown 2007 - present)
DAVE NASSIE (guitar) (Bleeding Through / ex-No Use For A Name)
TIM "YOGI" WATTS (drums) (Demon Hunter, ex-The Showdown)
Front man Dave Peters comments, "I can't say I love having a chronically fragmented lineup for Throwdown, but it does leave the door open for cool opportunities like this. I'm VERY happy to be playing these shows with Yogi and Nassie as 'special guests' or whatever you want to call them under the circumstances. They're great guys and equally great musicians. It will be a cool thing for fans of the three bands too, as it's hard to say if or when we'd share a stage in the future. The only drawback is running the risk of them setting the sound bar too high for the next time we play in our backyard."
Throwdown will headline the first annual "Brawloween," a brand new tour event which will stretch across the West Coast with support from Carnifex, First Blood, and Suffokate. Details are as follows:
10/21 - San Diego, CA @ Soma
10/22 - Bakersfield, CA @ Jerrys Pizza

Animosity unleashes the video for the song “Teeth Grinder” for world premiere April 11 on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Blog. Following its blogosphere release, the video will make its television debut April 12 on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball.
Under the direction of skate video extraordinaire Richie Valdez (Job For A Cowboy, Every Time I Die), Animosity randomly explores San Francisco in typical Animosity fashion with its goofy antics and running-a-muck silliness. Vocalist Leo Miller didn’t use his parent’s, contemporary-art-lined house for “Teeth Grinder’s” filming like he did for “The Black Page.” The band instead took its shenanigans to the gritty streets, hilariously ravaging several cultural attributes that epitomize San Francisco.
Animosity first hit the scene in 2000, when most of the members were only 15 years old, with a blistering brand of death metal/hardcore that sought to defy stereotypes and spit in the face of the mainstream. Almost two years after their Black Market Activities debut, Animosity is back and poised to showcase their tremendous talent and growth with “Animal.”
You can catch Animosity on tour on the following dates: More...
Sacramento, California's EMBRACE THE END have returned with their sophomore album, "Ley Lines", which was produced by Zach Ohren (AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK, ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS) with artwork courtesy of Paul Romano (MASTODON, TRIVIUM). Once
"Ley Lines" is set for an April 15 release and the entire album can now be streamed at the band's new e-card.
With a sound inspired by both metal and hardcore alike, EMBRACE THE END proves to be uncompromising in aggression and unmatched in their sound. Using a deft fusion of scathing blast beats amid a torrent of seismic breakdowns their musicianship is supreme and devastating.
The group will join up with HEAVEN SHALL BURN and THE GHOST INSIDE for a nationwide trek this month, which will lead them immediately into a run with ANIMOSITY, FIRST BLOOD and FOR THE FALLEN DREAMS. More...

First Blood is recording a new album for Trustkill Records with engineer Zach Ohren (Light This City). Titled "Silence Is Betrayal," the effort should be available in late-spring/early-summer. Here's the official word from frontman Carl Schwartz:
"I can't believe it has been almost 2 years since the release of our debut full-length album 'Killafornia' on Trustkill Records. Well, thankfully there hasn't been a shortage of stuff in the world to be pissed-off about, so this upcoming album will be nothing short of brutal - and quite possibly the most critical, condemning, and controversial material we will ever release.
"For fans of First Blood - Yes, this album will be every bit as heavy and crushing as the first, and then some. But the focus of this album resides in the message. There is simply too much going on in the world today to ignore, and if we are going to dedicate our time and lives to writing music and constantly touring the world while getting very little in return, then we might as well make it worth it and make a fucking statement. I find this world becoming increasingly hostile while the powers that be continue to undertake massive efforts to induce us all into passivity, conformity, and false sense of comfort. Well, life is not comfortable and it is our turn to 'stir the pot.'"
Southern California hardcore group The Warriors will headline the "Borderline Insanity Tour" with support from First Blood, Too Pure To Die, and Since The Flood beginning June 8th. The trek will serve as a preview to their Victory Records debut, "Genuine Sense Of Outrage."
"Genuine Sense of Outrage" was produced by Cameron Webb (Social Distortion, Motorhead) and features guest vocals by Motorhead's Lemmy Kilminster and Comeback Kid's Andrew Neufeld. "'Genuine Sense Of Outrage' touches base on many concepts including truths that reflect directly on our human condition as a whole," Warriors vocalist Marshall Lichtenwaldt says. "It's about stepping outside of ourselves and realizing that we are all the same. We are all enraged. This record is dedicated to those who truly embrace this culture and realize that these are more than words on a page." The album will hit streets in August, and the track listing is as follows: More...
Vocalist Che Snelting has officially left Dutch metalcore band Born From Pain after ten years with the group. Snelting has released the following statement:
"In the summer of '97 I bought a ticket for a rollercoaster ride called Born From Pain, and got more than I bargained for. Ever since the very first beginning I played so many shows, met even more great people and learned a lot about the world, music and especially me as a person. During the last year and a half however, I started struggling with my priorities and found out I wasn't into the band that much anymore as I was in our early career. This resulted in one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make in my life; me quitting Born From Pain. I found myself not being able to put energy into the band outside of the live shows, and later it became even harder and harder for me to get into the tour van to go to shows. I felt like I was lightly burnt out by a lot of things and especially Born From Pain. This led to me estranging from the band, to a certain extent, and I started thinking about a life without Born From Pain. The more I thought about it, the more I started to like the idea about having a regular life, a normal career and different hobbies without Born From Pain 'dictating' my life.
Like I said I had some great times with this band, but this is as far as I can take it. I have no more energy nor the will to push it any further than I have done up until this point. Me staying in the band would only keep the band behind, and that is not something I wish to happen to Born From Pain. Born From Pain has always been a band that pushed its limits and a band is only as strong as its weakest link. I will still be active in the music scene, but more on the background, like managing and advising bands. I will be playing music as well but that will be on a hobby basis. I'm happy the other guys decided to keep the machine rolling and that we're able to split in friendship. I'd like to thank everyone who supported me and Born From Pain throughout the years as well as GSR music, Metal Blade Records, Hollowman, M.A.D. and their entire staff for believing in this crazy thing that I helped create...Last but not least I wish Karl, Rob, Roel and Dom all the luck they deserve with Born From Pain in the future. The war is still on..."
Notably, First Blood singer Carl Schwartz is filling in for Snelting during Born From Pain's current European tour with First Blood.
