WFAHM Accuses Attila Of Stealing Song

The new Attila album "Chaos" is here, and War From A Harlots Mouth isn't too pleased about it, accusing the band of blatantly lifting a segment from the track "If You Want To Blame Us For Something Wrong, Please Abuse This Song."

War From A Harlots Mouth comments: "The undoubtedly most mentally challenged band on planet earth, Attila, blatantly ripped us off. Not that I'm surprised that these imbeciles can't write music of their own, but unfortunately for them, they picked one of our most widely known songs: 'If You Want to Blame Us...' Losers."

The two songs in question can be heard below, and while there are major differences, there is one segment in particular between the two songs that is intensely similar. What do you think - coincidence due to musical similarities, or blatant rip-off? More...

War From A Harlots Mouth Going On Hiatus

War From A Harlots Mouth recently checked in with the following announcement about going on "indefinite hiatus:"

"Today we are writing to all of you with some bad news. You might have heard the rumors or read some press releases and they are right, but only to an extend: WFAHM is going into an INDEFINITE HIATUS at the end of the year.

"There are a lot of reasons for us to make that move and believe me when I say that it's not an easy decision. But it feels like it's something we just have to do at this point. The last 7.5 years have been awesome for the most part and we're grateful for all the experiences and new friends we have made while travelling the world to show people what we're all about. We have toured places we never thought we'd get to see, such as Australia, Russia, almost the entire USA and all across Europe of course. We have made friends for life on the road. We have grown immensely as musicians and turned this band into something we are very proud of.

"Being in this band has been a great experience for each and everyone of us and it took us to places and opened up doors we couldn't even dream of. Being that the band started as a side project, we always stuck to the original spirit of making music that was outside of the box and therefor survived much longer than a lot of bands who were trying to be a part of certain hypes. We never cared for that, we just wanted to do our own thing and feel like we have achieved that. We want to thank everyone who's involvement made it possible for us to do what we do... you most definitely know who you are.

"The scene we're a part of used to be an inspiring subculture but has turned into an abortion of mainstream accessibility, with choreographies on stage and cute little matching outfits. It's frustrating to witness and really makes it less fun to go out and play with new bands sometimes. However, this is not a breakup, it's a hiatus. Sooner or later we might find the urge to come back and slay! More...

"We are all excited to announce that we will be heading back over to Europe this spring to participate in the Bonecrusher Festival. After some long and hard contemplation (uhh huh huh huh), we decided it would be best to get back over to the lands of beer and honey to throw down with our friends in Beneath the Massacre and cruise around with some other cool bands and try and have a good time.

"It will be our first time headlining a proper tour overseas in just about 2 years, and we are ready to play some tunes, drink some brews and crush some snacks. Come get your bone crushed with a bunch of bearded dudes on high protein diets playing music way too fast!"

The tour also features Beneath the Massacre, War From A Harlots Mouth, Gorod, As They Burn, and Make Them Suffer. More...

The band also recently commented on the recording, "We're excited to be back at the halls of Dailyhero Recordings and can't wait to see the new songs shaping up. All the guitar and bass recordings have been finished at Simon's Moulder Masters studios already, so we only have to finish up the drums, vocals and mix here.

"Simon is also taking over the mastering duties this time around, so a lot of this record is actually produced and engineered by him, which is a new experience for us as a band. We're stoked with the results so far, so now it can only get even better!

"We are really getting a kick out of this new material and feel like it's coming out very extreme, discordant and quite unique."

War From A Harlots Mouth Recording New Album

German act War From A Harlots Mouth, which signed to Season of Mist earlier this year, recently entered the studio to record the band's Season of Mist debut. The band has checked in with the following update:

"Paul is currently recording the drum tracks for the last song over at Dailyhero Recordings, while Simon is adding some final guitar and bass tracks at his studio. In other words, the instrumentals are as good as done and we are heading towards the mix in big steps, while Nico is still working on the vocals. Everything is sounding heavy as fuck already, so we can't wait to move on.
