AILD, Gwar, In Flames, Trivium Confirmed For SOTU
According to MTV.com, As I Lay Dying, Gwar, In Flames, Trivium, Cannibal Corpse, Terror, the Black Dahlia Murder, Behemoth, the Chariot and Through the Eyes of the Dead are all confirmed to take part in the second Sounds of the Underground Tour.
The Sounds of the Underground organizers are taking a different approach to this summer's festival by keeping the number of bands on the bill down and extending the length of set times. Last year most bands got no more than 30 minutes to play.
While dates for the trek — including the official launch date — are still being worked out, SOTU will return to Denver, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as cities in Texas, New England and western Canada. Tickets will go on sale in late March.
More bands will be announced in the coming weeks.
Terror Bassist To Depart
Terror bassist Carl Schwartz has left the group. According to frontman Scott Vogel, "He's sick of the road, wasn't having much fun and I'm sure that he's sick of me, and all the insanity that goes on with this band...he's being real cool and helping us out in the studio now, and will be recording on the next record. We love that dude, and best of luck."
The band is now in search of a replacement. Interested candidates with good equipment, a willingness to tour, and an ability to contribute backing vocals should contact the band at Terrorhardcore@gmail.com.

Terror kick off their month long US tour with Bury Your Dead this week. This might be the last time you see Terror before they head back in to the studio to record their follow up album to "One With The Underdogs". NEHMF 2005 Live Report
It’s that time of year again- birds are chirping, trees are blossoming, the city’s Crowne Plaza Hotel is bombarded with numerous metal parties. And, of course, the local businesses in Worcester, MA hand out flyers that read “Dear metalheads (!!!), if you’re wondering where to get drunk tonight, come to our pub”.
It’s the New England Metal Fest weekend, which was held on April 22-24 and welcomed fans from all corners of the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and even UK. Probably the biggest and best festival on this side of the Atlantic. At least this year’s. I was giddy with excitement about this event since January and I lived to share my observations and opinions. More...
