DED Premiere New Single & Visualizer "Eraser"

Nü-metal outfit DED have locked in a September 19th release date via UNFD for their upcoming album, “RESENT.” Accompanying the announcement is a visualizer for the album’s latest single, “Eraser,” streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below.

“RESENT” will feature several notable guest appearances, including Chad Gray (Mudvayne/HELLYEAH) on “You Want Honest?”, Danny Leal (Upon A Burning Body) on “Rise Above It All”, and Chris Motionless (Motionless In White) on the previously released “Until I Die.”

Kerry King Premiere New Music Video

Slayer guitarist Kerry King is gearing up for his first headlining North American tour with his new band, set to kick off on January 15th, 2025, in San Francisco, CA. Supporting acts for the tour include crossover thrash veterans Municipal Waste and Maori groove metal outfit Alien Weaponry. Pre-sale tickets go live today, October 2nd, at 10:00 AM local time (password: ‘RISE’), with general sales starting this Friday, October 4th, at 10:00 AM local.

In other news, King has released a new music video for his track "Where I Reign," directed by Jim Louvau and filmed during his summer tour. Earlier this year, King dropped his solo debut album From Hell I Rise, which was released in May. Hellyeah Reveals New Album Details

After this weekend’s courageous and emotional sold-out concert in Las Vegas celebrating the life of Vinnie Paul, hard rock purveyors Hellyeah announce today the title of their sixth studio album, "Welcome Home," and new release date, Friday September 27th, via Eleven Seven Music.

Hellyeah Reveals New Drummer

American heavy metal supergroup Hellyeah has announced that former Soulfly, Stone Sour and Nausea drummer Roy Mayorga has come aboard, replacing former drummer Vinnie Paul, who sadly passed away in June of last year. A statement posted on the band's Facebook page reads as follows:

"Please welcome our dear friend and brother Roy Mayorga, who will be guesting behind the drum kit as we honor our brother Vinnie Paul. These men had so much love and mutual respect for each other, this makes our transition so much easier. Ready or not, here we come!"

HELLYEAH Premiere New Song & Music Video “333”

A first new single from HELLYEAH‘s impending studio album is streaming below. The track is titled “333” and the video was shot in Brooklyn, NY earlier this month. The group’s upcoming new record will land in stores on June 28th and it will feature the final studio recordings of the HELLYEAH‘s late drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott, who passed away past June.

Hellyeah Announces Vinnie Paul Tribute Show

Hellyeah, in association with KOMP 92.3 and Live Nation present A Celebration Of The Life Of Vinnie Paul, a very special event set in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada at The House of Blues, Saturday May 11th. This event will mark the first live performance of Hellyeah since the tragic passing of their bandmate and brother last year.

Says the band: “Please join us together with our metal family, friends and fans to celebrate the life of our brother and bandmate Vinnie Paul on this special evening.”

Hellyeah and Live Nation will donate a portion of each ticket to the American Heart Association, in honor of Vinnie Paul Abbott. Tickets on-sale this Friday, March 8th, with fan club availability opening sale today, March 4th. Find an event page here.

Vinnie Paul's Final Hellyeah Album To Be Released

In a post on social media, supergroup Hellyeah announced that they will be releasing a new album next year, their last with late drummer Vinnie Paul, also of Pantera and Damageplan fame, who died in June of this year. The post reads:

"See you all next year and with a new record that is going to blow you away!!"

More information will be revealed as soon as it becomes available.

Vinnie Paul’s Official Cause Of Death Determined

The Clark County Coroner has determined the official cause of death for late Pantera, HELLYEAH etc. drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott. The coroner has declared that Paul died in his sleep as the result of dilated cardiomyopathy, while severe coronary artery disease also played a part in his death as well.

Comments a representative of the family:

“Vincent Paul Abbott died from natural causes, specifically, dilated cardiomyopathy. Severe coronary artery disease was identified as a significant condition to the cause of death according to the official report submitted by the Clark County Coroner’s office. We ask that you please continue to respect the privacy of the family and friends of Vinnie Paul. No further statement will be issued.”

Vinnie Paul Abbott passed away on June 22nd, 2018 at the age of 54 in his Las Vegas home. He was laid to rest alongside his brother, late Pantera/Damageplan guitarist ‘Dimebag’ Darrell Abbott and his mother Carolyn at the Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.

Anselmo Offering Tribute To Vinnie Paul Via Video

The public celebration of life for late ex-Pantera/Damageplan, HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul that was held yesterday, July 01st, at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas can be streamed below. Among those offering tribute via a video presentation was Vinnie‘s ex-Pantera bandmate, Phil Anselmo, who had an estranged relationship with him stemming from the demise of Pantera back in 2003.

Phil Anselmo appeared via a previously recorded brief video message at the celebration offering:

“Vince, always have love in my heart for you, man. Rest in peace.”

Report: Vinnie Paul Died From Major Heart Attack

The Las Vegas Review-Journal are reporting that drummer Vinnie Paul‘s (HELLYEAH, ex-Pantera, etc.) passing this past Friday, June 22nd, according to those who knew him was the result of a ‘major heart attack’. An exact cause of death has not been officially confirmed/determined yet.

Last night Paul‘s ex-Pantera bandmate Phil Anselmo shared the below photo of a lit candle. Anselmo and Vinnie had a bitterly estranged relationship for well over a decade.

Vinnie Paul (Pantera, HELLYEAH, Etc.) Dead At 54

It has been announced that drummer Vincent "Vinnie Paul" Abbott of Pantera, HELLYEAH and Damageplan fame has passed away at the age of 54. As of yet no cause of death has been revealed. His representatives have confirmed his passing to Billboard.com. A post on Pantera‘s Facebook reads:

“Vincent Paul Abbott aka Vinnie Paul has passed away.
Paul is best known for his work as the drummer in the bands
Pantera and Hellyeah.

No further details are available at this time.
The family requests you please respect their privacy during this time.”

Louder Than Life Announces 2016 Lineup

Following a 2015 sellout with 50,000 in attendance, Louder Than Life returns to Champions Park near downtown Louisville October 1st & 2nd, 2016 for the third annual destination festival celebrating the region’s culture and cuisine.
