Five More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2012

The organisers of Belgiums largest heavy metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, has announced a further five bands for next years edition of the event. These include Connecticut natives Hatebreed, metalcore outfit Killswitch Engage, Bay Area thrash metal legends Exodus, Scottish pirate metal group Alestorm and American heavy metal outfit Devildriver. Kvelertak Tour Kicking Off Next Week

Norwegian blackened punk metal enigmas Kvelertak are set to kick off a short string of U.S. shows next week with co-headliners Skeletonwitch. The tour will commence on October 19th in Atlanta and steamroll its way through nine more cities. Zoroaster will also join in the festivities as direct support. The full itinerary is as follows:

Skeletonwitch Streaming New Song Online

Athens, Ohio’s Skeletonwitch has debuted a new track from the band's upcoming album, "Forever Abomination." The song “Sink Beneath Insanity” can now be streamed at Pitchfork.com. The new album "Forever Abomination" hits streets on October 11th, 2011.

Skeletonwitch is about to wrap up a run supporting Arch Enemy and Devildriver, the band will then headline select shows in October before joining forces with Kvelertak for a short run of dates. The band will be participating in this fall’s Jaegermeister Music Tour, alongside Chimaira and Unearth. The group will kick off 2012 by supporting The Black Dahlia Murder in the U.K. and France.

Chimaira Announces Tour Dates With Unearth

In addition the previously announced U.S. tour dates with Revocation and Impending Doom, Chimaira will also be heading out on the road for a round of dates with Unearth this fall for the "Jagermeister Presents" tour. The trek begins October 10th in Kent, Ohio and the band will be touring in support of latest record “The Age of Hell." Skeletonwitch and Molotov Solution will also be joining these bands on the road.

"We are extremely excited to hit the road with our old friends in Unearth,” says Mark Hunter. “Crazy to think that our bands have been playing shows for over 10 years but never headlined together in the states. A lot of fans have been waiting for this line-up and now the wait is over. This is going to be a blast! Our friends at Jägermeister will be supplying the fun, we'll be blasting the tunes, and you guys bring the ruckus! I guarantee you don't want to miss this!"

Skeletonwitch Issues Album And Drummer Update

Cleveland metal act Skeletonwitch has posted the following update online announcing that is has begun the recording process for its upcoming new album. The band also discusses the addition of new drummer Dustin Boltjes.

"Waiting fucking sucks! So, after months of writing, it’s great to finally be in the studio tracking the new album. It’s not rocket science…it’s epic, it’s brutal, it’s fucking Skeletonwitch! We can’t wait for everyone to hear it. We’d also like to officially welcome aboard our newest member Dustin Boltjes. He’s a great fucking dude and an animal behind the kit. We couldn’t have found a better fit. Welcome aboard, brother!"

Skeletonwitch also recently revealed the details of the third, and final, installment of the band's 7" trilogy "Onward/Infernal." Information on the release is available here.
