Skeletonwitch Releases New Music Video

Ten years ago today, brothers Nate and Chance Garnette joined forces with Scott Hedrick in a new band they opted to call Skeletonwitch.

A decade later, the blackened metal powerhouse commemorates the anniversary with the world premiere of the slasher/classic horror-themed music video for "I Am Of Death (Hell Has Arrived)," a new song from the group's fifth studio offering, "Serpents Unleashed."

Check out the video below, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting.

Comments Nate, "It's never a bad time when you combine 100 beers, several bloody sheep skulls, murder in the woods and five headbanging maniacs. It's an even better time when the end result is a killer classic/slasher video. This time we went with the 'even better time.' Enjoy!" More...

Skeletonwitch To Record New Album

Prosthetic Records has checked in with the following announcement about an upcoming new album from Skeletonwitch:

"Who's ready for a NEW Skeletonwitch album?? Us too!! The band just announced they will be recording their fifth album in April at God City Studio with none other than Kurt Ballou (Converge, Kvelertak, Black Breath)!"

Skeletonwitch also issued the following statement: "Happy New Year! Hope everyone is off to a great start. First off, thanks to everyone who supported Skeletonwitch during this past year. We did some serious gigging in 2012, and your support on the road and of ‘Forever Abomination’ was overwhelming. We would be nowhere without you. It’s not just idle hands that do the devil’s work — we’re already deep in the process of writing a new record, which is shaping up to be quite an epic slab of metal, if we may say so ourselves. Keep an eye out for frequent updates. Drink it, smoke it, eat it!”
