Space Chaser Shares "Ignite The Skies" Video

Nothing can beat the thrill of thrash at its best, and no one is keeping the spirit and sound of the genre alive quite like Berlin‘s Space Chaser. With the release of their new single, "Ignite the Skies," we see the beginning of a new chapter with the German Thrash Metallers! Guitarist Leo Schacht has taken on vocal duties in addition to guitars, which sees Space Chaser heading into a new direction – more razor sharp, defined and rougher than ever before! Space Chaser Uploads New Music Video

German raging thrash metallers Space Chaser have released a brand new video (produced by Lucas Fiederling / Peregrine Films) for "Juggernaut," a song taken off the bands' latest full-length "Give Us Life" which was released in the summer of 2021. Check out "Juggernaut" below.

Comments the band: "Freeze your ass off in a Berlin club for two days and assemble a disrupted desert landscape from another planet? We thought that was a fantastic Space Chaser idea! Together with our buddies from Peregrine Films we brought the Juggernaut - the merciless, warmongering monster - to life and sent him on a destructive journey. In well known 'sci-fi meets thrash metal' style, we deliver the matching short film for our song „Juggernaut“ and headbang our brains out along the way. Watch out that you don't get buried under the tank chains! BOOM!" More...

Space Chaser Streaming New Album

On July 16, Berlin's Space Chaser will release their new album, "Give Us Life," via Metal Blade Records. An advanced album stream can be found below, along with a recent interview drummer Matthias Scheuerer gave to Metal Underground.

Nothing can beat the thrill of thrash at its best, and no one is keeping the spirit and sound of the genre alive quite like Space Chaser. Marking their ten-year anniversary with their third full-length, Give Us Life, they are returning in force and once again establishing their importance in the scene. "What we do is contemporary thrash metal, if you will, and while still having the 'old-school' elements everyone loves, we try to incorporate some of the influences that we expose ourselves to. Over the last ten years, this kind of music progressed a lot, and of course that has its influence on us. But what we do is still thrash metal, we just hope we're able to translate it a little bit better into 2021." More...

Space Chaser Signs To Metal Blade Records

Metal Blade Records welcome Berlin's Space Chaser to its worldwide roster.

Space Chaser is pure 80s thrash metal - a fast, ripping and in-your-face old school attack. Since their formation in 2011, they've released two full-lengths (2014's "Watch The Skies!" and 2016's "Dead Sun Rising"), in addition to numerous EPs and singles - including 2018's split record with Dutch powerhouse Distillator.

Space Chaser comments: "We would all shout in unison 'Metal Blade' when asked what label our number 1 choice would be. Needless to say, we are ridiculously excited that we can call the legendary label our new mothership. With one of the strongest allies in the business, we're ready to launch our most brutal assault yet. Stay tuned!"

Fans can expect Space Chaser's Metal Blade Records debut in 2021. More...

Space Chaser Posts "Waste Crawler" Video

Berlin's Space Chaser has released a video for "Waste Crawler," which can be seen below courtesy of Terrorizer.com.

The new album "Watch The Skies" is due out on May 5th via This Charming Man Records. The label also issued the following press release about Space Chaser:

"Shaped by hi-top sneakers, skateboards and cheap booze as much as they are Anthrax, Metallica and Agent Steel the Berlin based quintet have built an impressive following in their native Germany around their love of classic ’80s thrash metal and no nonsense approach to banging heads, necking bottles and starting parties in the dearth of good parties.

"Having come to the attention of This Charming Man Records in 2012 - who included ‘Thrashold’ on their This Charming Man Radio Distortion Broadcast compilation after just one listen to their self-released Decapitron EP - Watch The Skies is every pinched harmonic a winner for fans of the genre. Whether the band is keeping the tradition alive or just doing their own thing is anyone’s guess but one thing is for sure, Space Chaser are far from being your average Germanic/Teutonic thrash metal throwback. Produced by Harris Johns (Sepultura, Sodom) this is a record about alien invasions, hazardous waste and modern day maschinenmenschs rolled out against a backdrop of excellent riffs and rhythmic guitar duels, wailing vocals and chemically peddled drum fills.

"Make no mistake, Space Chaser are out to tear fair-weather metallers a new one so get on side or get out of their way. Watch The Skies will be released in the UK on 5th May 2014, and throughout the rest of Europe on 12th April." More...
