El Caco Streaming New Single
Norwegian hard rock band El Caco is streaming the track "Hatred" over on it's Facebook Bandpage. The song comes from El Caco's upcoming ten-song album "Hatred, Love & Diagrams," due out on January 27th on Indie Recordings. Currently, the band is shooting an official video for that single. While awaiting the album, check out El Caco's previous endeavors on MySpace or their video "Substitute."

Sarke, Tom Gabriel Warrior Join Forces At Wacken
Norway's Sarke, featuring Nocturno Culto (Darkthrone) and Sarke (Tulus, Khold), will be joined by legendary Tom Gabriel Warrior (Triptykon, ex-Celtic Frost and Hellhammer) for their performance on this year's Wacken Open Air. Together, they will perform the Celtic Frost classic "Dethroned Emperor."
The Sarke band comments: "We are all massive fans of Tom and his music, and we are honored to share the stage with him at Wacken!"
Tom Gabriel Warrior adds: "It's an honor and a privilege to be invited to appear onstage with Sarke, a group whose line-up doesn't only contain personal friends but also musicians I respect deeply. We shall make our appearance at Wacken a truly special event!"
Since the recording of their debut album, "Vorunah," Sarke has grown to become a real band, and the live line-up is now officially part of the band. Sarke's line-up is completed with Asgeir Mickelson (Spiral Architect, Thornbound, ex-Borknagar), Cyrus (Susperia) and Anders Hunstad (El Caco, Autopulver, Morten Abel). The band is already working on new material, and a new album is expected in 2010.
El Caco To Enter The Studio In November
Black Balloon recording artists El Caco will again work with Daniel Bergstrand, and will enter Dug-Out Productions in Uppsala, Sweden in November to record their 4th album. The follow-up to 2005's "The Search," for which the El Caco won The Alarm's “best metal album” last year, will be released in March 2007.

El Caco Win Best Metal Album In Alarm Awards
The Alarm awards took place in Oslo, Norway last night, and El Caco won the “best metal album” award for their latest album “The Search”. Next Saturday it’s the Norwegian Grammy, and the day before El Caco will rock Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo with fellow Grammy nominees Stonegard and support band Torch.

El Caco Invited To The Great Indian Rock Festival
El Caco has been invited to play at The Great Indian Rock festival, which is scheduled to be held February 18-20 at Hamsadhwani, Pragati Maidan in New Dehli. Other international acts include Freak Kitchen and YOURCODENAMEISMILO. The "GIR" festival has for many years now been a focus for Indian rock and metal acts, but last year also included former El Caco labelmates WE.

El Caco Nominated For Norwegian Grammy
El Caco has been nominated for a Norwegian Grammy. Their last album “The Search” is nominated for best metal album of 2005. The other nominees are Audrey Horne, Extol and Stonegard. The awards takes place at Chateau Neuf in Oslo, Norway on the 28th of January, and there will also be a live broadcast on Norwegian TV2.

El Caco's "The Search" Charts In Norway
El Caco's new album "The Search", released in Norway last week, entered the official Norwegian top 40 sales chart yesterday at number 22. This is the first chart entry ever for both the band and Black Balloon Records. The album will be released in the rest of Europe on the 18th of April.

Unreleased El Caco Track Featured On Compilation
El Caco's previously unreleased track "Disguised Naive" taken from the "Solid Rest" sessions is featured on the upcoming compilation "Burn The Street volume 4". The compilation will be released by German label Daredevil Records on the 28th of March, and also includes tracks from Mastodon, Entombed, Alabama Thunderpussy and others.

El Caco Recording Second album
El Caco have been busy working on their new album in their own Sound Riot Studio lately. They have finished recording guitar, bass and drums and have now returned to DugOut Productions in Sweden and producer maestro Daniel Bergstrand. Bergstrand produced and mixed El Caco's brilliant 2003 release "Solid Rest" and have also worked with bands like Meshuggah, In Flames and Soilwork. El Caco will record all the vocal tracks at DugOut and Bergstrand will also mix the album.
The European release date for El Caco's yet nameless new album is 18th April 2005.

El Caco To Play by:Larm
As one of the bands nominated for the Alarm Awards, El Caco will perform at this years by:Larm in Bergen, Norway. (by:Larm is Norway's version of "In The City" in the UK, "Popkomm" in Germany and "SXSW" in the US). The gig takes place on the 13th of February at Teatergarasjen.

El Caco Nominated for Norwegian Alarm Award
El Caco has been nominated to win the prestigious Norwegian Alarm Award 2004. Major music journalists nominate the candidates and the audience votes for the winners over the Internet. The nominees for this years best metal-album are El Caco, Dimmu Borgir, Thulsa Doom, Enslaved and The Cumshots. The Alarm Awards takes place in Bergen, Norway on the 14th of February 2004.
