Demonstealer Releases New Single
Demonstealer, India's premier solo metal musician, has streamed his new video "The Art Of Disinformation," from his new album "The Propaganda Machine," out today, 31st March, via Black Lion Records.
Featuring Sebastian Lanser (Obsidious), Kilian Duarte (Fallujah), Anabelle Iratni (Veile, ex-Cradle of Filth), the video can be viewed below.
Featuring a stellar line-up of metal musicians across the globe, "The Propaganda Machine" is another chapter in the story of one of heavy music’s most tenacious underground legends. The album is a brilliantly wicked 40-minute ride featuring the likes of Hannes Grossmann (Alkaloid, Triptykon, Blotted Science), Martino Garattoni (Ne Obliviscaris, Ancient Bards), and Ken Bedene (Aborted). Technical symphonic death metal at its finest – no holds-barred, full-throttle heaviness. Relentless in its brutality, triumphant in its melodies. Vocally the album is also hard-hitting, marking a lyrical turn to reality and escape from fantasy - an eviscerating take on the polarised world today, and a record that fully speaks truth to power. Demonstealer Reveal Album Artwork For 2018 Release
Demonstealer, reveals the artwork for their upcoming album titled 'The Last Reptilian Warrior' created by none Reuben Bhattacharya aka Visual Amnesia (Slipknot etc.). The artist had this to say about it:
"The Last Reptilian Warrior was quite the journey. I really enjoyed the process of painting this entity and creating this character based on the Reptilian idea with Sahil. The art itself evolved over a period of time until it became the embodiment of the last reptilian, a Monk like Warrior walking the volcanic lands alone carrying his machine and staff, watching the world around him come apart. I really wanted his expression to convey that feeling of wicked dystopia." More...
Demonstealer Announces New Drummer Guest
Demonstealer has announced another international drummer to contribute towards the much awaited new release "The Last Reptilian Warrior." Having already employed the services of Kevin Paradis, the band is proud to announce David Diepold from Benighted.
Demonstealer is the solo project of Sahil Makhija who is the founding member of one of India's biggest bands, Demonic Resurrection. He dons multiple roles and the music is completely in his own vision with ample experimentation and collaborations. The previous Demonstealer album received much praise and saw the release of several official videos in its support. The new album is said to be more death metal and with a number of exemplary musicians slated to be a part of it, it's highly anticipated around the world. A funding campaign through PledgeMusic is ongoing at this location.
Makhija commented: "I'm super stoked to announced that David Diepold is going to be playing a song on my upcoming EP titled 'The Last Reptilian Warrior.' I've been floored by his YouTube videos and when I saw him play live in 2015 with Benighted at Brutal Assault I was floored. I had a chance to meet him at the festival and I've been wanting to collaborate with him for a while and I'm super excited that he's now part of this EP. If you don't know who he is just watch his videos HERE. That's not all, I had said that there were going to be 3 drummers on this EP, it might just be 4 drummers now. Stay tuned for details." More...
Demonstealer Launches Crowd Funding Campaign
Following the release of "This Burden Is Mine" last year, Demonstealer has now launched a crowd funding campaign for an upcoming EP set to include several guest musicians. Demonstealer's Sahil Makhija had this to say:
"Now I know for most people it's hard to pre-order something without knowing what's coming up but I can assure you, if you go by the quality of music I've been delivering, you won't be disappointed.
"While I had George Kollias drum on the solo album, this EP is a little more ambitious and I'm trying to work with not 1 but 3-4 drummers. While I've confirmed 3 of them I can only announce 1 right now and that is Kevin Paradis from France who is an incredible drummer. You can check him out on youtube. I can say that the other 2 drummers will also blow your mind."
Demonstealer Posts "The Last Jester Dance"
Demonstealer has released a new lyric video/playthrough video for "The Last Jester Dance." Sahil Makhija comments:
"Even though the release is over a year old now I always want to release a video for every song on the album, which is why this video comes out now. It's been one of the more popular songs among fans and it's one of my personal favourites from the album and so I decided to release this guitar play-through and lyric video all rolled into one."
The band also recently announced an upcoming new single to feature Benighted drummer Kevin Paradis. More details will be revealed soon. More...
Demonstealer Releases New Video
Demonstealer just dropped a new music video for the track "From Rubble And Ruin," which features George Kollias and caps the band's latest album "This Burden Is Mine."
Sahil "Demonstealer" Makhija had this to say about the clip: "I think the video takes a step away from the conventional metal ones and I'll give complete credit to director Guilherme for this vision. I guess it was born from not actually having a full band or even myself to shoot because we are in different countries. So I gave him complete creative freedom and he delivered the goods I think."
