The artwork for "Profound and Profane" was created by Raf the Might. Vocalist/Bassist Drew Murphy on the album artwork: "We're very happy to unveil the cover art for 'Profound and Profane.' Raf The Might did an incredible job. He really captured the theme of the record. Tampa metal act Dark Sermon has finished production on a new, yet-to-be titled LP due out later this year via eOne Music / Good Fight Music.
"All I can say is that it is certainly a step in a new and interesting direction," says frontman Johnny Crowder. "As a whole, it is slower, faster, heavier, more engaging, and more mature than 'In Tongues.' I think we finally found our true sound. We're touring extensively in support of this new record, so keep an eye out for dates. Our tour with Sworn Enemy, Wretched, Hammer Fight will kick off our Spring/Summer cycle, and we can't wait to get back out on the road again."
The band will set out on a batch of tour dates this April with Sworn Enemy, Wretched, and Hammer Fight. Dates start in Charleston, SC on April 7th and even hitting a few cities in Mexico before wrapping things up in Providence, RI on May 1st.

"Chug of War," which follows the band's 2011 untitled EP, was recorded by Bobby Torres at The Machine Shop in Belleville, NJ. Artwork for the album came from a collaboration between Hammer Fight bassist/vocalist Drew Murphy and Buz Hasson, tattoo artist and co-creator of the comic book The Living Corpse. "Chug of War" is set for release on November 12th via Horror Gore Pain Death Productions.

New Jersey thrashers Hammer Fight are streaming a new song from the band's self-titled debut EP. The name of the track is "Ginger Rails," and it should follow a similar theme of metal debauchery that the band's official video "Get Wrecked" had. During the same recording session that spawned "Ginger Rails," Hammer Fight also recorded a track entitled "A Corpse Is A Corpse (Of Course Of Course)," for the forthcoming film "The Living Corpse." Details on the song and film are forthcoming.
New Jersey band Hammer Fight has premiered the video for the song "Get Wrecked," off the band's self-titled EP. The video features a typical Hammer Fight house party with additional footage shot at The Irish in Kearny, NJ. This Atlantic City band describes it's sound as one part Motorhead, one part Blood Duster and a dash of pure, concentrated mayhem.
