Finnish cult heavy metal band Oz issued a video clip for the new song "Bone Crusher," which you can check out below. The song comes as the new album "Transition State" drops in Europe today (October 20th) via AFM Records. The U.S. release is a week later on October 27th.

Oz Goes Into A "Transition State"
Finnish cult heavy metal band Oz is back! More than five years after the re-start of the career with "Burning Leather," the band led by founding member and drummer Mark Ruffneck finally delivers the anticipated new studio album (the first with all new songs since 1991!), entitled "Transition State." The album will be released via AFM Records on October 20th (EU) and October 27th (USA).
Oz doesn't fail to impress with thirteen cracking and fresh, traditional metal tracks of immensely high quality. Even though Ruffneck is the last remaining member left from the original line-up, Oz are as strong as ever and continue to haunt you with the relentless, uncompromising sound they are known for!

Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse Lineup Announced
The Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse 2013 will take place in Chicago this coming May 3rd and 4th. The full lineup has now been revealed and is available below. The organizers of the festival also commented:
"Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse is the premier true metal festival in North America - keeping underground metal alive in the states. They've quickly gained an infamous reputation across the world by featuring many legendary bands all at one event.
"Some Ragnarokkr veterans include the reunion of Brocas Helm, the German power metal masters Wizard for their only USA show, Helstar for the first time in the Midwest in over 2 decades, Voltax for their first USA appearance, Obsession featuring Michael Vescera, and the epic Virgin Steele. 2013 will be the best year yet! First Five Bands Confirmed For Ragnarokkr 2013
The 2013 edition of the Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse will take place at Reggies Rock Club in Chicago, IL this coming May 3rd - 4th. Additional details can be found at the festival's Facebook profile here. The following bands have now been confirmed for the upcoming festival:

Axemaster Music To Be Used For Horror Flick
Ohio power metal band Axemaster announced that music from the band's 1987 classic "Blessing in the Skies," as well as video footage for the song "Slave to the Blade" from said album, is scheduled to be featured in the upcoming horror movie entitled "Metal Maniac."
Producer Susan Kapostasy commented on addition of Axemaster, "Metal Maniac is my tribute to all things horror and heavy metal, which is why I'm so excited to include Axemaster in the soundtrack."
"Metal Maniac" is currently in the filming stage with no official release date.
