Metallica today announced that the band will bring an explosive live show to fans throughout Europe next summer with an All Request show, a first for the multi-platinum, award-winning band.
As a special tribute to the fans, the band will introduce "Metallica By Request," the ultimate interactive Metallica concert experience. Fans who purchase tickets online to these upcoming European dates will be invited to vote on the set list Metallica will play at that show - giving them the chance to help build their dream set list from 30+ years of Metallica's material and close to 140 recorded songs to date.
Metallica's traditional 18-song set will include the 17 top voted songs as well as a brand new song. Fans will be able to visit the Metallica website to see what songs fellow fans are voting for and the results of their specific shows.
"We are once again psyched to break free of the four walls in the studio to get energized by our devoted European friends for a couple of weeks next May and June," said Lars Ulrich. "On top of that, the fact that all our nutty fans will pick the songs we play should be some next level fun and take a big load off my shoulders as the guy who usually writes the set list!"
Currently announced dates are as follows (with more coming next week):
June 4 - Imtech Arena, Sonisphere - Hamburg, Germany (On-Sale November 29)
June 5 - 8 - Rock am Ring - Nürburgring, Germany (On-Sale November 27)
June 6 - 9 - Rock im Park - Nuremberg, Germany (On-Sale November 27)

we could suggest the greatest setlist imaginable, yet it will be for naught...as mentioned above, the Disposable Zeros' ability to perform the old material with any conviction has eroded beyond all recognition
it is confounding to me that people are actually still willing to PAY to watch the tard Danish slobber all over his tubs while the braying donkey croons his "yeah, yeah" fvcking bullsh!t
fvck these chumps
