Sepultura has posted the following message online via Facebook about having to cancel the band's previously scheduled North American tour:

“Due to the delay in obtaining a visa for the band to enter the United States, we regret to inform all fans that the previously announced North American tour is being cancelled.

"We apologize to the fans, promoters, and the bands who were going to be part of the ‘Tsunami Of Metal’ tour – Unearth, Kataklysm, Scar the Martyr, Anciients, and Dark Sermon. Fans who purchased advanced tickets will be entitled to a full refund."

Sepultura has also now released new album "The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart," which can be heard in full at this location.

That sucks. I was thinking about going to this one. Sepultura+Unearth+Kataklysm is a pretty killer lineup.

That blows. I'm not really a Sepultura fan but was looking forward to seeing Kataklysm and especially Anciients again. They just played here and got shorted a song, which makes it even worse.

Yea, pretty attractive line-up no doubt. I wonder if the government shutdown had anything to do with the delay in securing work visas? Sepulturas' never had problems getting into the US.

Good point - it could be. I was wondering how/why such an established act would leave something like this to the last minute.

yessir big R, I noticed a major decline in Migra numbers down on the border on our last hunt, zero military training flights in one of their prominent flight ranges in that part of the country, and absolutely nobody representing the BLM within their jurisdiction down there

was pretty nice actually :)

but very out of the ordinary

the further south our good land goes, the more I consider my BC bud Kamloops Peter sage advice..."you live in the wrong country bro!"

Just can't get my mind around the f***ing Commonwealth influenced ban on handguns...but that sh** is happening in piece meal (no pun intended) down here anyway...only a matter of time I think

Sorry! WAY off topic :)
