I have to wait til i get home to listen to it in its entirety because Im at work but I will say from what ive heard of it its awesome. Soulflys low point for me was omen but since then I find they have been getting back on track. Enslaved was a very strong album and had some great songs on "plato e plomo". With savages i think Bloodshed rules and marc rizzos guitar bits are beyond awesome.
In reply to johnny ballgame in my opinion dark ages is the best soulfly album ever made so to say they went down hill from prophercy is crazy. I can see what your saying with dark ages being more thrash than nu metal. maybe thats why you wasnt so impressed by it?
What i will say is Soulfly are among the best metal bands out there and this release just makes me believe that even more.

my opinion best album since prophecy, the 4 albums after prophecy I felt were not very good and the downslide had begun but I think max bounced back a bit with this record.
Tracks 1,2 and 10 were my favorites.
