I really tried to like this album because I think that Phil is an amazing front man. The music just seems to go everywhere except melodic and the vocals sound like he's just constipated the entire time. I will always love Pantera as a whole band, it seems like the side projects only served as a fix to the new music that I craved to hear. I'm not saying that Down, Damageplan, or Superjoint ritual were sh**ty by any standard. I just think that they were all missing the rhythm and sync that we were all used to growing up. It was a unique band that fed off of each member to make them the beautiful monster they became.
