Carcass Posts New Album "Surgical Steel" Trailer

British extreme metal legends Carcass have released a trailer previewing music from their upcoming sixth full-length release, "Surgical Steel." Check it out below.

The new album will be released on September 16th (UK), September 13th (Rest of Europe) and September 17th (North America) through Nuclear Blast.

If someone had told me Carcass would make a new album 10 years ago I'd have laughed. When they started touring again and reissuing albums the prospect seemed a lot less funny. What if they don’t have it anymore? What if the years have been as harsh to them as ... Metallica?

All these “what if’s” were soothed when the band started sharing details about the album. And all fears were officially put to rest by “Captive Bolt Pistol” and now this…

MU needs a “hero of the year” or “back from the dead” award because if Carcass pulls this off, (and I’m certain they will) they will have more than earned it.

Take note other 'veteran' metal acts - this is how it's done. Plus, I support 100% how Carcass have stood behind Ken Owen. They include him in interviews, drum solos and support his family after his disabling illness.

And I had an empty anticipation for that last M.A. Album after waiting what, 8 years? I can't even play that in company. But this.. I could blast the trailer all day, which is pretty neat how they filow the different songs together. 16 year wait..feel like a virgin 'bout to score.
