Lucubro Call It Quits

LUCUBRO has called it uits after 3 1/2 years of existence. The band passes this along:

As all things come to an end, so has the reign of Lucubro. Sadly, the band has decided to part ways. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us, all of the great bands we've had the chance to play with, and all the friends we have made over the last 3 1/2 years. Even though Lucubro is being laid to rest, new projects will inevitably rise from the ashes. The Lucubro.com website will remain open for awhile longer as we still have CDs and some T-shirts available and you can still contact individual members through their Lucubro email addresses listed on the site.

We have two last shows scheduled for September - one in Worcester at our home away from home, the Lucky Dog - and one in Somerville at the newly-renovated Skybar for our Boston-area friends. We do hope you can make it out to one or both of these shows.

Lastly, in more positive news, the August issue of the UK magazine - Terrorizer - contains a 1/2 page article about Lucubro. Terrorizer magazine is available at Newbury Comics. Thanks to Paul Stenning for the write-up.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make the last 3 1/2 years so successful for Lucubro. We whole-heartedly appreciate the support.

Until we meet again,
Krista Van Guilder, Chris Gervais, Heath Thayer
