Blind Guardian's Premiere
Century Media and Progpower have arranged a deal to premiere the first single from Blind Guardian's as-yet-untitled full-length called, And Then There Was Silence, between sets at ProgPower 2.0 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Here is the rest:
"And Then There Was Silence, Blind Guardian's new fourteen-minute long epic, will be the title track of their upcoming single, which will be released in December," said a Century Media press release. "The track will also be featured on the band's forthcoming yet-to-be-titled full-length effort, which has been slated for a February 2002 release. The single will also feature "Harvest of Sorrow", which was recorded during the group's Nightfall in Middle-Earth sessions but was left off that release due to it not fitting properly with the content of that album. The band will also include on the single a special multi-media track for fans."
Although, Blind Guardian will not be performing at this year's event, artists ranging from Spiral Architect, Evergrey, Angel Dust to Kamelot and Symphony X will appear. And Then There Was Silence will serve to sweeten Progpower, which is scheduled for November 10 and 11 at Earthlink Live.
