Couldn't agree more Cynic. Everyone's 'favorite band' was a group they heard for the first time once. Plus, why just limit yourself to the same 'top 100' metal bands - explore and listen or you'll get stale. We're Metal Underground, not Metal Mainstream. I found quite a few interesting Italian bands on this comp.

Wow, I'm on the second song and both bands so far have had actual singing. I hate when I see one of these comps paying tribute to a classic metal band and everyone just does cookie monster vocals. Which happens way too often. Nothing wrong with cookie monster if that's your thing, or with adding a different take on an old song. But it seems lazy to me to just use the most obvious current style when reinterpreting a classic. Especially if they stay faithful to the music and just change the vocals; melody is a huge part of most old school metal and I feel the monster approach tends to turn the voice into another rhythm instrument. These first two tracks have been great, looking forward to the rest.

I've listened to all of the covers. They are all well done covers, and not with the bullsh** like a lot of covers of trying to imitate the band exactly, including vocals.
These bands are to be commended for filtering these songs through their own respective styles.
I think this album has earned the right to sit aside any of the other Black Sabbath tribute albums, and is certainly better than some I've heard.

I like the witches brew dudes the best...hard to pull off such an overplayed and stereotypical tune
Not super stoked on the rendition of Acrobat...but its my absolute favorite sabbath tune, so that may be a bit over critical...there was some fvcked up noise in there
Couldn't agree more about the covers with death vocals...and I fvcking LOVE death metal. Archenemy's 'Aces High' comes to mind....just fvcking terrible
And there was some band on here recently that did Hell Bent For Leather and it was just atrocious...if the dude on the mic hasn't completely blown his voice yet, hes well on his way...miserable technique and delivery
These are not bad...couple pretty good ones!
