The Devil's Blood Calling It Quits

Band Photo: The Devil's Blood (?)
Occult rock act The Devil's Blood has posted the following brief message online about apparently calling it quits:
"As of the 22nd of January 2013 The Devil“s Blood has returned into nothingness.
"All planned Rituals will be cancelled. No interviews will be done. Consummatum est.
"- SL & F The Devil's Blood - 2007 / 2013"
No further information has been made available about the abrupt breakup. The Devil's Blood released two full-length albums, "The Time of No Time Evermore" (reviewed here) and "The Thousandfold Epicentre" (reviewed here).

Wasn't this guy saying that he was going to make a name for himself and then commit suicide? I'm pretty sure that that's the case here. That or the band's reputation for violence off-stage created a insurance liability that made it too hard to tour. And then there's always the possibility of artistic and/or creative differences. It's too soon to tell but odds are the word's going to get out in a day or two.

Goddamn, that was hideous. I didn't know Willow had been moonlighting as an transvestite 'occult' vocalist...
'make a name for himself and then commit suicide'? heh, quite the melodrama...quite original as well eh? No other self-serious prima donna wanker has EVER uttered that idle, bratty threat
well adios, Troo Minstrels of Satan...stay wicked ;)
