I thought it was cool, due to the classic vibe... Then it got to the two and half mark. Along with the other guys I puked. The guitars were crude for a bit, then got better. During that phase.
Good covers?
Between the buried and me had a whole album of them, I liked a lot of stuff off that.
Cannibal Corpses version of Metallica's No Remourse was sick.
Loved HateBreeds version of Ghosts of war by slayer.
There are def some other awesome things out there. Just have to look around.

Well thank you for the response. BTBAM's cover is awesome. I will have to check the other ones out. One of my favorites of all time is Fiver Finger Death Punch's cover of Bad Company. One I just listened to is a cover of Break Stuff by Last Ten Seconds of Life. Anyway, I was trying to go a different route on here, but I forgot most "Metalheads" are too cool and have to try and be "broootal" or whatever. These are the same guys that think the only band that exist is Alice in Chains. I can tell how intelligent they are by their response on here. "Duuur puke!!! Oh cool man, you puked too. Huh Huh!"

STH5563: My but you paint with a very broad brush. "The only band that exist is Alice In Chains" Really? My opinion of this cover is just that. MY OPINION and the last time I checked I had every right to my own opinion. I hated this fvcking song when it came out and this version is even worse than the original. There are plenty of good covers out there, but this and 5FDP are not them. Moody saved that song on the merits of his vocals only. Odyjon's suggestions are a good place to start and I maight also recommend Metal Underground's tribute album to Peter Steele available in the store (link below).

Also I never really like Beastie boys...But Cancer bats did a great cover of Sabotage.
Carnifex's Version of Angel of death = Slayer song for those who sadly don't no..... : \
sh** lets go old school lol, Sepultura doing Orgasmatron from Motorhead.
A perfect circle covering "imagine"
Correct me on this one Fellow Metal Heads. Mark of the squealer from Shadowsfall. That's a cover isnt it?
Trivium MASTER OF PUPPETS...Which is a little faster then the original :D

Blindgreed1: I already know about a lot of covers. I was attempting to maybe learn about new and different covers from you guys, but there's no use in conversing with someone that doesn't have the same taste in music and that thinks they're the coolest person ever. I happen to like almost all metal and its genres and I don't comment on blogs / post that I don't like.
Yes, Carnifex's cover is amazing. It's a shame they're not together anymore.

Hey R10: Speaking of "Don't You Forget about me", Life of Agony covered that song on their "Ugly" Album. I thought they did a good job - better than this.
I thought this cover wasn't very cohesive. The inclusion of the chaotic sections detracted from the song overall due to it's forced delivery.

This is a really good cover aside from the rushed transitions. Jerry Roush has an amazing voice. Another good recent cover to mention is Like Moths to Flames cover of Some Nights. Wow!
