Actually, I LOVE metal. And I didn't know that Hatebreed equals everyone... That escalated quickly. I forgot that I'm not allowed to dislike things and then tell people about it. My bad.
Oh wait, what I meant was f*** YOU AND YOU CAN SUCK YOUR MOMS DRIED c** OFF MY d***

@ Branded, it depends what the topic and message is. As much as I love Slayer, their last couple of albums are hate hate hate and f*** f*** f***. Kinda does get old. On the other hand, Amon Amarth and Leaves' Eyes singing about vikings and Norse gods and Nile singing about Egyptian monsters and gods NEVER gets old. That said, Hatebreed, who is not anywhere near the same class as any of the above bands is pretty much a one trick pony.

Just my two cents on this thread...i like hatebreed...i started seeing them playing cheap bars and skateparks up north 15 years ago...yeah, the lyrics and the music is certainly not the quality of Motorhead or Emperor, or even more famous hardcore bands like Agnostic Front, Sheer Terror or Murphy's Law, but their albums are all solid and fun to listen to while enjoying a cold beverage.
Yes, they aren't all about cool stuff like WWII battles, Norse gods or ancient egypt, but the message is uplifting to a lot of kids, and even some old farts like me who see the world going to sh** around us every single day. The breed always puts on a solid live show and I for on am very excited to see them tear up ft. lauderdale with shadows fall and dying fetus, already got my ticket on the fridge...this will be a pretty epic tour...hope some of you guys get to see and enjoy it...even jingojango

Hmm I wonder if this album will be a bunch of screaming and tough-guy posturing mixed with persevering and hardships and being a survivor. *yawn*
