I agree and have not been impressed in the slightest. I know some of COF's fans want that noise assault but noise without purpose is pointless. Damnation in a day showed that they could be heavy and be catchy. Nymphetamine and Thornography proved they could be interesting without constant blast beats. Cradle to enslave, Cruelty, etc has melodic purpose along with COF's bite. Bite without purpose sounds like a barking dog. I have found select tracks off their last 2 albums that i liked instead of a whole product. Looking forward to the good ones off this album. I dont ask for much, but Swansong for a Raven makes me buy albums, not sure about this yet.
