Static-X Announces Summer Tour Dates

Static-X has begun announcing tour dates for Summer 2012. The band, fronted by Singer/Guitarist Wayne Static, will embark on dates beginning July 15th at the Ink Life Tattoo Convention at the El Paso Coliseum.

Static commented on the upcoming tour saying, "I had a great time over the past few years doing my Pighammer album and solo tours, but it's time to get Static-X back on the road. I can’t wait to tear it up with some old school Evil Disco!”

Original bassist Tony Campos will not be joining the band on this tour but says “I’m proud of my years with Static X, and want to see the name of the band stay alive and well. I hope that all of our fans will continue to support both Wayne and I in our individual endeavors.” This first leg will feature newcomers Davey Suicide and 9 Electric, and are just the beginning of a long string of dates. Expect more announcements soon for additional shows.

tony campos as humble as ever, im glad he left static i feel he was held back. His skills on the new soulfly record really shined through (best album of the year in my eyes).
As for wayne i like all statics stuff but when he started to get his whore of a wife on stage with her tits out, I lost all respect for him. You wanna marry a pornstar whore thats fine but dont get them to point there plastic 36c abused c** stinking money grabbing talentless tits at me
