Isn't Gorec*** from Virginia? Nout wrong with that gentleman!
I wasn't having a pop at Richmond, just saying that, from an international point of view, I know a little about shows in New York, Texas and New Orleans, nothing about Richmond or Virginia in general though.

I can't speak for the "worldwide" perception of Richmond's music scene, and I grew up 45 minutes down the road so I was never totally in the thick of it, but I can say that as with most major cities, if you're looking for it, you'll find it - from great to terrible, and everything in between.

"Dimebag Darrell Paul" made me cringe a little, but that kind of metal ignorance is hardly unique to VA. To be fair to the "in jail not in America" guy, I think his basic point, which I admit could've been articulated better, is that being brought up on charges and jailed in a foreign country, whose laws and standards of justice may differ and result in a drawn-out international legal headache, is simply not a good situation, whether or not you're guilty.
That said, BG: pistols at dawn. I demand satisfaction!

"Richmond is known worldwide for it's high energy music?"
Is it?
"He's in a jail not in America. That can't be good."
Most jails are bad.
"A fan jumped onstage and shot legendary guitarist Dimebag Darrell Paul."
Oh dear...
