I have been waiting ten (thats a whole decade) years to see him in action.
Gladly I was not dissapointed.

From what I hear, our sh** metal bands could show Soulfly a couple of things or 2. Apparently the shows in JHB were terrible, 45 min set playing badly composed Sepultura tunes and a guitarrist who could not play to save his own life, but had his flying kicks down to a tee...thank goodness I never went. I don't like Soufly and from what I've heard it's a good thing I don't. Did the guitarrist also wear a backpack the entire gig? Gotta be the funniest most stupid thing I have ever seen (from photos of Sat night)

yeah saw soulfly waited ten fuc8ing years to see Max but was most dissapointed. I thought he looked old, maybe he was suffering from jet lag but probaly burnt out (too much drugs?) He did not have the youthful energy of sepultura days. Hey we all have off days but for R200-00 you could have got a bit of sleep though. Will definatley go see them if they had to return though... hmmn....
