Meshuggah posted a new lyric promo video for the song "Do Not Look Down." The song appears on the band forthcoming album "Koloss" due out on March 23, 2012 (EU) and March 26, 2012 (North America) through Nuclear Blast Records.

I'm liking that the labels are taking notice of all of the unofficial lyric videos and are now putting out high-quality official lyric videos to counter them. I'd prefer to see this kind of stuff rather than a series of googled images strung together and ridiculous text overlays.
Plus, it could allow the bands to show more artwork this way (count how many different times the pictures changed in this one!)

Agreed, especially with bands whose vocals may be difficult for a novice metal fan. I remember struggling to decipher Deicide and Carcass at the ripe, old age of 12. I would have been giddy about something like this but alas, no internet. :)

There aren't many bands that put me on pins and needles before a release date but Meshuggah are one of them... I feel like I should be capping that off in old man voice with "stay thirsty my friends"...
