Starting today, AOL Music is streaming Corrosion of Conformity's self-titled new studio offering in its entirety. Set for North American release on February 28th, 2012 via Candlelight Records, Corrosion Of Conformity was recorded at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles, the 11-track offering was produced by the band in cooperation with long-time collaborator John Custer, mixed by John Lousteau (Foo Fighters) and features artwork by Seldon Hunt (Melvins, High On Fire).

Featuring the esteemed "Animosity" line-up of vocalist/bassist Mike Dean, guitarist Woody Weatherman, and drummer/vocalist Reed Mullin, the album’s release closes a six year recording gap and completes over a year of concentrated writing and recording for the band.

The lineup in the photograph of C.O.C. is not the lineup on the album .
You are giving the impression that Pepper is playing with the band at the moment, which is not the case.
That photo is from 2001 circa live volume and in addition to showing Pepper Keenan shows Jimmy Bower who was filling in on drums at that particular moment but has not played with the band since then.

Definitely has that old Animosity vibe to it. Very raw and punky. Contrasting with Animosity, Mike does more singing than screaming. To me, he comes across as a 'thinner' sounding Pepper - it could be the production, or my ears. Guitars are classic Woody and I love Mike's bass lines when they walk abit instead of following the guitar. And lastly, its great to hear Reed back with COC. It wasn't the same without him. I only wish he would have showed off just a bit more. All-in-all, it's a good old-school punk/thrash hybrid and sounds like COC without sounding like imitators of COC - if you follow me.
