"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Pain Of Salvation In The Studio

Sweden's Pain Of Salvation are hard at work recording their fourth studio album and follow-up to last year's The Perfect Element I tentatively titled, Remedy Lane.

Here is the rest:

The album will contain 12-13 tracks and is said to be concept album. Here's what a post at Bravewords.com said:

"We have been here for almost two weeks now and the album is taking shape before our ears. We are ahead of schedule, all the drums are done, all the bass, most of the keyboards and guitars and three songs already have lead vocals."

The story continued: "If you are worried about the sound or content of the album, let us put it like this - at least we are very satisfied ourselves, and we are not easily satisfied. We will also go out on a European tour early next year, so prepare to be blown away! The style of the album? What can we say; it's Pain of Salvation."

If everything with the Pain Of Salvation camp goes smoothly, fans can expect Remedy Lane to be released sometime in January 2002 on Inside Out.
