Mastodon Posts New Song, "Black Tongue" Online
Atlanta, Georgia based heavy metal outfit Mastodon has posted a new song online entitled, "Black Tongue." You can check it out below. The song comes from the group's forthcoming new studio album, "The Hunter," which will be released through Reprise Records on September 27th.

Sounds good to me!!
Kinda like a strange combination of Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden (let's see how badly I get punched for that one around here).
What I've heard of the new album so far sounds like Mastodon got together and simply started kicking ass, and moved away from Crack The Skye's lenghty songs and multitracking. I like this stuff... simple (well simplier) and straight to the point.
