Decapitated has announced the band's new album "Carnival Is Forever" is due out on July 12th (North America) and July 15th, 2011 (Europe) via Nuclear Blast Records. A preview of the album has now been posted online and can be heard in the player below.

Good to see Vogg carry Decapitated on. He is an amazing guitarist and with the tragic passing of his brother and injury to Covan it would have been a shame not to hear him doing what he loves....and quite well at that. Plus Krihm is a very very good drummer.

Not terrible, but honestly to me all the songs kind of sound the same and go in one ear right out the other. I was hoping for something with nice structures like Negation. More catchy memorable riffing. This stuff is kinda stock sounding to me. I'd have to hear the whole record start to finish.

I agree with KC I didn't hear anything that blew me away...no real powerful Decapitated riffs, BUT I will reserve judgment until I hear the whole album. Either way there is no techno sh** like MA so we all gotta be happy with that :)

I think that no matter what this album will come under scrutiny because everyone from the last album except for Vogg is gone. However, Decapitated has had line up changes on everyone of their albums. As Vogg gets older, the music will progress. But this is far from the new Morbid Angel bullsh**, or that last Cryptopsy atrocity. This is quality death metal which you dont hear from any other band under 35 years old except for Decapitated.
