Body Count Pens New Song For The Video Game "Gears Of War 3"
Body Count, the highly controversial band fronted by rapper and actor, Ice-T, recently performed a brand new song entitled, "Gears Of War" at this year's edition of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3.) You can check out fan filmed footage of the band performing the song below. This is the first new material from the band since the 2006 album, "Murder 4 Hire," and is expected to appear on the group's new album, which is rumoured to be released this year around September time.
Body Count is not the only band to have recorded a song for the "Gears Of War" series, American thrash metal legends Megadeth also recorded a song of the same name for the first installment of the series, where it appears in an instrumental version. "Gears Of War 3" will be released on September 20th.

I actually like Ice-T.
He's done a great job as a solo artist and as an actor (ok there's loads of crap as well, but he was awesome on New Jack City and Law&Order), plus despite his gang past, he comes across as a righteous and intelligent man with his head in the right place.
But Body Count is rubbish and always was. What the hell is he thinking?

hahaha, I just realized I was thinking of Ice Cube. Either way, nothing funnier than a rapper turned actor.
Ice T was one of the first rappers to do TV acting. I remember back in the mid-90's there was a cop drama called New York Undercover about two gay cops, one black and one Puerto Rican, and Ice T was the villain in a few of the episodes.

T and Cube are both great old school rappers...don't much care for their extracurricular activities
Body Count has always been nothing more than a METAL parody, regardless of how seriously they want to be about it
Gears of War? Gods of War? Fvck that sh** man, I'm gonna throw on some REAL black metal:
