Alchemist Finds Chemistry With Relapse Records

Australia’s cult avant-garde metal outfit Alchemist has signed a worldwide recording deal with Relapse Records.
Relapse will issue the band’s latest record, Organasm, in North America on October 16th. Organasm is the band’s
fifth release but first to be available outside of Australia and domestically in North America.

"We are hoping that Relapse can give us the promotion and distribution that we have been looking for and also get us playing the states and Europe sometime after the first release for Relapse," said Alchemist guitarist / vocalist Adam Agius.

ALCHEMIST are currently writing material for a new recording, which is described as 'heavier and even more avant-garde'. The band's next live appearance will be at the prestigious 'Metal For The Brain Festival' in Canberra, Australia on October 20th, 2001.
