no idea wat that nathan guy was talking bout but its good to see slipknot get back out on the road, imagen if mettalica or ozzy r acdc wouldve quit after their tragic losses??? scary. a new album IS going to happen, theyd wanna pay tribute to paul with a song or sumting. n hopefully this is the spark that throws slipknot into the new decade.

you could ask all 8 members the same question, and you get 8 different takes...
when they tour the states i'll go, but im not too excited about a new lp, the last 2 have not been to me the slipknot i became accustomed to in the past...self titled and iowa albums is the sound i want back, but seriously doubt it will come to fruition or be ressurected ever, which is a shame...
btw, murderdolls live are awesome, i'd reccomend anyone who digs there music to go see them live

well dudes, i'm a diehard Slipknot fan and any news that comes out about them playing live or making a new record is always good news to me :-) However, I do agree with most of u who say they went a complete different direction after Iowa...Oh and to those thinking those guys behind Joey are from Slipknot, well they're not, those fag looking dudes are from the MURDERDOLLS...but yeah, I do hope somehow they come back more agressive like the old days...

Actually you'd only get like 7 different opinions because Craig doesn't talk, or do interviews of whatever. At least that's what I've seen. I don't think I've ever seen that dude speak.
Anyway the only Slipknot record I don't like is Vol 3. Everything else is pretty good. Either way I'll give the new album a listen and see where they're at musically and it'd be cool to see 'em live reguardless.

This thread is littered with incorrect corrections. Is the big red pie sucking your brains in and spitting them back out of the engine or what? I've seen an interview with Craig before when he was doing his side thingy (drum bass stuff). It was very uneventful and uninspiring...

for as far out as shawn is, he talks sorta on a level of smartness that really floats around in my head wondering...like why he thought a keg was an "Acceptible" piece of instrument. anyways, slipknot too me was a band i grew up on so i really don't bash them too much. rip paul but i think they're new album will surprise us...

So...clown is f***ing crazy ("red Pie". "we might all die soon"). I wonder if hes still all f***ed up from Paul's death. As for joey, if hes into the gay a$$ goth style, why isn't he in a black/death metal band, instead of the relatively light (esp. the last album) band. Why the hell did they only interview two of them and completely ignore Corey?

i think Slipknot are really at crossroads, to continue or not after the passing of Grey or if they can capture the same old Slipknot vibe without him, plus what direction to take musically; the kickass Iowa stuff or the melodical alternative stuff of All Hope Is Gone.
IF there'll be a new Slipknot album, it'll be complitely make or brake it for them IMO. Are they still the Iowa monster, or some watered down version of it.

^^^completely agree with u WOLF...could not have said it better, and damn!, i hate to admit it cuz he is one of my idols but Joey does look like a freaking gay goth reject lol .... anyways, my fingers are crossed for SLIPKNOT to make a good comeback and maybe make a better record. \m/

^^I am pretty sure Shawn is not the only original member. And he doesn't do f***-all.
If Corey would just stop being a whiny b**** about it and just record a f***ing album then they'd record an album! His head's too far up his a$$ since he's making money with Stone Sour so why take a risk? A MUSICAL RISK? Why, what a preposterous proposal! *scoff*

My own vision of Slipknot has degenerated so badly that when I hear the name I instantly conjure a mental image of this obese thunder-beast with dyed black hair, smudged on mascara, reeking of unwashed crotch and hovering around the pit-edge waiting to knock down the pseudo-emo kid that's trying his hardest to be cool.
Aweful thing about Bison - they're a herd animal.
