Awesome! Head to SOM website and you can preorder this in a whole array of versions including a Wooden Box with Vinyl, TShirt, Incense, Candles and more!!!
Looking forward to hearing this, long time MA fan!
Agreed - Too Extreme! is a strange title, but I don't care what they're called, it's a Morbid Angel release...FINALLY!

Too Extreme!!!???
Blades for Baal????
Beauty meets Beast???
Radikult??????
I am Morbid??????
Destructos sounds like Sepultura's "Biotech is Godzilla" but worse.
PLEASE tell me this was a late April Fool's joke???????
I've been a fan since Altars and this has me thinking I won't be doing a pre order for this AT ALL.

I guess hind sight IS everything.
Maybe Trey was so disheartened by the fans reaction to Herectic he figured bringing Vincent back would be the only way back to the "old" days.
I never thought Vincent would become.....what he is now.
"Beauty Meets Beast"??? A song about sex?
From Morbid Angel?
The other song resembles White Zombie?
Something tells me this is Vincent's ugly "rock star ego" crap coming out of the closet again (pun intended).
Morbid Angel does their version of Metallica's "black album".
Oh joy.
Should have asked Cradle of Filth how well the fans recieved "Thornography"
Or Cryptopsy.
I think going forward I'll call them Morbidtopsy.
Another red flag....a guitarist called Destructhor????
DESTRUCTHOR?????
I'll reserve final judgement till I've heard this atrocity myself.
But.....um....Trey???
Give Desthructor the boot.
Re fire Vincent.
Get Pat Obrien from Cannibal Corpse and maybe Martin Van Drunen on vocals.
I guess the whole thing wouldn't be such an utter disappointment if we hadn't waited 8 years for this......
I'm still hoping Morbid was playing an April fools joke on us.

Pretty much anything with Van Drunen on vocals is successful in my mind. Anyway as I said from Trey it's not the hugest suprise - he's been constantly talking about techno music in interviews, remember when he talked about having an extreme music fest with a mix of hardcore techno and metal? It's just surprising that the most metal of all bands would change pace now after all these years.
Also, I enjoyed Heretic so there ya go.

The reality is that this probably won't appeal to everyone after reading the review. But...I suppose most folks were expecting a clone of the earlier MA stuff...then everyone would have screamed "we've heard it all before...recycled from years ago...nothing original".
I also agree with Cynic...I didn't mind Heretic, Gateways probably my least favourite MA offering.
I'm not too concerned what other people think...what's most important to me is what I think of it, and I (like many others) have been waiting a long time for a new MA release. I will pass judgement after I listen to it.

songs number 2 , 7 have funny names and i hope
that is just lack of ideas in lyrical department...
hey Vincent here is some cool ideas for song
titles form me like:
-he made me kill
-the lust in steel
-hordes of maniacs
ha ha something like this is maybe cooler?
long live m.a.
