Down Announces More U.S. Tour Dates

New Orleans based supergroup Down, featuring members of Pantera, Crowbar and Eyehategod, has announced that the band will be performing a handful of shows in the United States as of next month. VIP Ticket Packages will be available, which include a General Admission ticket, sound check (where applicable), meet n greet (you get one personal item autographed), T-shirt from the merch booth (day of show), laminate and a $5 gift card to the Down-Nola.com online store. VIP ticket Packages will be sold through Down-Nola.com for the two New Orleans dates and Houston. Maxwell is still being determined as to whether or not VIP Ticket Packages will be available for this date (as it's a festival). VIP Ticket Packages for New York, Philly and Sayreville are all scheduled to be sold through Ticketmaster.com. Tickets go on sale this week - stay tuned for presale information.

The initial tour dates are as follows:

March 4 - New Orleans, LA - The Hangar
March 5 - Maxwell, TX - The Cotton Gin
March 6 - Houston, TX - Warehouse Live
March 11 - New Orleans, LA - The Hangar #2
April 28 - New York, NY - Best Buy Theatre
April 29 - Philadelphia, PA - Trocadero
April 30 - Sayreville, NJ - Starland Ballroom

Yes Down hit up Worcester May 1. Branded I think I saw same tour. An Evening with Down. No openers only a Down movie. Down played for 2 and a half hrs. Security was hella tight 4 this I remember. First time I had to walk through metal detector at Palladium.
