Chimaira Working On New Album, Planning Headlining Tour

Chimaira is reportedly working on a new album and is planning a short headlining tour. The band posted the following on their facebook page:

"We've been hard at work on the new album. We booked 10 day headline tour to get ourselves out of Chimaira HQ. Dates will be announced VERY soon."

The band canceled their U.K. tour late this summer as a result of illness.

Anything that sounds like The Impossibility of Reason, Self titled, or even Resurrection will be welcomed by me.
Their most recent release it seems like they focused too hard on the heavy side of the music and didn't make enough songs that were fast and crushing like their earlier material.

Needless to say, I'll give it a shot, as Chimaira are one of my favorite bands
