A Perfect Circle Announces New Tour Dates

A Perfect Circle, who announced their return from hiatus last week, has announced a five-city, multi-night tour for this fall with ticket on-sales slated for this week.
Phoenix, Los Angeles and Seattle tickets go on-sale on Sept. 24 at 10 am pst. Las Vegas tickets are on-sale the same day, Sept. 24, at 12 noon pst. Tickets for the San Francisco shows are on-sale on Sept. 26 at 10 am pst. There is a two ticket limit on all shows. A very limited number of VIP packages will be available for each show. The two different packages are: 1. Wine tasting, meet and greet, admission ticket; 2. Meet and greet, admission ticket.
Shows in Phoenix (Marquee Theatre), Los Angeles (Avalon), Seattle (Showbox at The Market) and San Francisco (The Fillmore) will be three-night stops with each night featuring one of A Perfect Circle’s three albums in its entirety (Mer de Noms, Thirteenth Step and eMOTIVe). Las Vegas (The Pearl) will be a two-night outing (Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step).

November 12 Seattle, WA Showbox at the Market (playing Mer de Noms)
November 13 Seattle, WA Showbox at the Market (playing Thirteenth Step)
November 14 Seattle, WA Showbox at the Market (playing eMOTIVe)
November 16 San Francisco, CA The Fillmore (playing Mer de Noms)
November 17 San Francisco, CA The Fillmore (playing Thirteenth Step)
November 18 San Francisco, CA The Fillmore (playing eMOTIVe)
November 20 Las Vegas, NV The Pearl (playing Mer de Noms)
November 21 Las Vegas, NV The Pearl (playing Thirteenth Step)
A Perfect Circle's current line-up is Billy Howerdel, Maynard James Keenan, James Iha, Josh Freese and Matt McJunkins. Keenan told Rolling Stone in an interview last week, "These shows are going to be very small intimate theater gigs, basically just the five of us [in the band] trying to connect with each other."
The band performs on Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 27.

It seems the latest trend in rock is for a revived band to play small - "intimate" - shows under the pretense of something like '...trying to connect with each other...' or some other contrived nonsense in an attempt to convince themselves, and us, of their relevance and artistic integrity...
