Now if it was "Soundgarden Reforms with New Vocalist," THAT's reason to flip out. Plus, would you rather them never have come back at all, while mindless, talent-less, originality-devoid metalcore and emo bands cloud up the heavy airwaves?

I was never into Alice in Chains until I saw them at Soundwave last year in Brisbane. I now have every album! They kickass the old & new singer! Totaly agree with Grateful_Undead - Id rather them with the new singer than not at all!

ACDC is one exception to that law! lol. I dont think a band should continue under the same name, with the singer gone. My opinion tho!

just got back from the show in chicago and they were amazing. duvall does a great job and yea there'll never be another layne but with the amount of vocal harmonies that him and cantrell did it wasn't like he was the sole vocalist.

#8: That's open to debate. They did well with RJD and Ian Gillen but the rest after Ian were questionable at best.

Personally, I like William better than Layne.
