Behemoth's Nergal Brings Awareness To The Need For Bone Marrow Donors

As previously reported, BEHEMOTH leader Nergal has just found out he needs a marrow transplant to fight the sickness he has recently been diagnosed with (leukemia). In light of this, he wants to remind everyone about the need to be on the marrow registry. The more people get tested and donate, the more of a chance for life there is for him and people in the same situation.
BEHEMOTH and Metal Blade would like to thank everyone for their support and well wishes during this difficult time. The best thing we can all do right now is learn about the marrow donation process, not only help save one of metals leaders, but to also help save countless others out there struggling with the same disease.

Do you need the same blood type to donate? If I donate, will it go to nergal or will it go somewhere else? How can we find out if nergal and myself have the same blood type? If i am on the other side of the planet, will the transplant get to him before going bad?

I will go to a testing facility and find out if I am the same blood type and If i am il fly to poland and do what I can to save nergal. I dont think there is a bone marrow transplant center in canada. I can't just sit around and do nothing. Can somebody get back to me please.

like i said - being an evangelical christian i don't approve of nergal's black metal and attitude BUT i do really HOPE for his physical and spiritual recovery. i don't see his cancer as a ''punishment'' (cancer can fall on anyone good or bad) but rather i look at it as a ''calling'' to RE-evaluate what is REALLY important in this life - a new challenge...and probably one of the most difficult that one has to face.

He dosen't actually need that much, but it will hurt like hell donating. Leukemia simplified is a mutation in the bone marrow which causes a 'cancer' of the blood... not exactly a cancer or a mutuation but for simple purposes lets call it that.
I'd offer my services to nergal... but unfortunally i'm only allowd to donate via sirnge to family and close friends, as i'm extreamly phobic of needles and i pass out and passing out with a needle inside you is dangerous as blood vessles could tear and i could bleed to death.
If anyone has an idea what bloodtype nergal is... be sure to post it everywhere... and i mean everywhere... cos it isn't just nergal who needs this transplant... Metalheads arround the world need nergal to get this transplant as he is one of our many hero's and we've lost too many of our hero's lately....

I, honestly, am not a fan of Behemoth. But I do respect them as musicians and human beings. I wish for no one to die. I hope he has a safe swift recovery and I am glad hes raising awareness for it. I will say that I do hate people like that holy rolling hypocrite Above. I dont like organized reliving or sports but I am a firm believer in letting people believe in what they want. Its their life, and if there is afterlife, then they will pay for it. Leave them be. \m/
