Katatonia To Release Special Edition Of New Album "Night Is The New Day"

Katatonia kicks off the "Night Over North America" tour on September 8th in Baltimore. To coincide with the 26 date North American tour, Peaceville Records will release a special edition of the 2009 studio album, "Night Is The New Day," in a hardback mediabook, with 20 page booklet, and bonus track, “Ashen." The special edition of "Night Is The New Day" will be available on August 24th. The track listing is as follows:

As a huge Katatonia fan I agree that this is not worth it. That bonus track already appeared on some UK(IIRC) edition when the album first release. Its an ok track but not worth the extra dough. If it was on vinyl and has great artwork then it'd be worth it.

Still a great album. Though I think "The Great Cold Distance" and "Last Fair Deal Gone Down" are the best of their current style.
